Its on the top floor of the heritage hotel Lindsay. This place gives you an old heritage vibe. Nice, cozy ambience, stunning views from their outdoor rooftop and very cordial staff. Food was good.

Very cozy place. The building structure is old but it goes with the theme. I was expecting something much less impressive but upon the elevator doors opening. I was taken aback. The rooftop was amazing. It had an entire view of the Kolkata Skyline. As a tourist to the city, this was absolutely delightful to look at.

Now for the food and drinks.

The drinks: Loved the cocktails and mocktails. My personal recommendation: Muddy water. They also serve other great mocktails, we also had a kiwi fruit one and it was worth the money.

The food: It's a good place to eat, but it is not anything special. If you want Kolkata food, Blue and Beyond is a solid choice to go to. It has an impressive amount of food item to choose from.

The indoor could've been decorated better but overall, I was very impressed and would definitely come visit again.

Though I visited this place a long back but I would love to review it. I got to know about this place from the nearby app. I absolutely loved everything about this place. The food was great and the ambience was hypnotizing. The decorations on the Rooftop at the 9th floor were mesmerizing and u can spend a lot of time there. It is a perfect place to visit with your friends as well as a perfect place to set up a date. They also offer you a 5 course meal for two for which you need to make a prior reservation from the nearby app. Starting from the starters to the dessert in such a low price. The cocktails were also satisfying especially the Cosmopolitan. The behaviour of the staff was also very polite. My experience was amazing and I strongly recommend this place ❤

A must visit Rooftop Restaurant if you want to feel the essence of middle Kolkata including Victoria Memorial,2nd Hoogly bridge and all.

Have to say awesome Ambience, but quality of food specially main course is not up to the mark. Drinks and starters are huge collection. anyways, It is a place where you want to spend a stress relief evening with the friends and families , it is the perfect place to hang out. From the rooftop u have a 360 degree city view with soft blowing breeze . You can come here with your love one to date. Less noise and less disturbance. Service is very slow and may be u get wrong arrangement of dish also. but the open sky memorizing you. i will visit again

Most delightful and quite budget friendly rooftop restaurant. The view and the ambience was absolutely stunning. Had one of the best Dates there.. Food is quite good too tbh, the employees are polite . Also another thing I should mention , the time gap between the order placed and the food delivered to table has been minimalised. Loved every second of being there,. Tremendously photogenic area.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant cum bar. Reasonable price for each food item. Food includes Chinese, Indian, Thai, North Indian. Great ambience with soft background music. Great view of the Kolkata, three side open. The whole restuarant and staircase covered with rare photographs of Kolkata, portraits of eminent film personalities and rare photographs of film like Pather Panchali etc. The warm light gives a different look to the entire restuarant. Located just opposite to Simpark mall inside the Lindsay Hotel on the 9th Floor. No parking area in the whole area. Will be better if you taking cars park them on Park Street and walk towards Simpark mall. The whole area is fully congested due to the adjacent market.
Now taking about the Drink, it's bit expensive as a beer bottle will cost you around ₹375. They only serve 330ml pint bottles no 650 ml available and no pitcher and tower as well. Don't look into Zomato, as most of thr item is not available currently. No sisha/ Hookah is available. They do have a open smoking area where you can smoke.
Must try: Shredded Lamp, drums of Heaven, fish item on starters.
Button biryani is bit expensive as it will cost around ₹500 but sufficient for two people.
Main course: Must try Mutton Roganjos, chicken Kasha and lacha paratha(2-3 sufficient for two people). Food quality is adequate and sufficient according to the price.
Best time to visit: 5pm to experience the view of kolkata during summer.
4-4:30 during winter.

I just love this place. Each and every food is too good, extremely beautiful background.

One small problem is their Ac is not working.

I visited this place multiple times due to it's amazing ambience and beautiful view in the evening.
Teriyaki chicken is their recommended starter item.

Amazing cooks this place has got, I had food for over week here during my Calcutta stay.Amit and Abhijeet Mondal are really outstanding cooks, the food they make with almost zero oil and no trace of chilli yet spicy enough food is a treat. I strongly recommend this place!!

The ambience is good. Awesome food taste but hookah not available.
Rashid Ahmed and other staffs are really professional and gave good customer service.

The restaurant located in one of the busiest areas of kolkata, the New Market. Located on the nineth floor, it gives a vivid view of the entire area and also has a lovely ambience. The food is average. But the behavior of the staffs is very polite and generous. It is is great place to hang out with friends or family.

Pretty nice place !! Good food !! Roof top is very nice and the happy hours started this puja ..1-5 pm..25%off on total food which is a good 👍👍

Awesome rooftop bar cum restro in Esplanade area. You can see the whole kolkata from your seat with delicious mouthwatering dishes. Very lovely place for hangout with friends and family also. Great ambiance great environment. Good food and service is also good. Must try Let me Kai, this is awsome.

Good food. Good music. Heart warming ambience. Promt and professional service. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but the magnificent birdseye view of your city from the 11th floor is worth it.
Early evening and anytime after would be the best time to hangout here.
