You can get Birth Certificate for new born baby, after 40 days here. Initially you should give baby name & address details in your hospital. Get the form for Rs 1, fill it & pay Rs 10 to get 2 original Birth Certificates.

Birth Certificate Issue Timings: 9:15 am - 12:45 noon & 2:30 - 4:00 pm.

Best government office I have ever seen. The employees are very kind and informative including the security women. Salute to all. But 3 months waiting period to get the certificate is too much.

It's located in a main place in Jawahar Nagar. The office is very close to the Pavazha Nagar bus stop (less than 200 metres). The building is very large with ample open space around. The good thing in this office is that it has sufficient parking space around the office for both two wheelers and cars. We can get our works done comparatively in right time. The office is mostly crowded. It's a well-maintained office. The office timings are strictly followed.

It takes care of internal road facilities, solid waste management and other basic amenities of the areas covered under the Municipal Wards of Oulgaret Municipality.
