Swiss-Belhotel Balikpapan

Didn't mean to end up in Borneo, however, here we land. Swiss hotel to the rescue.

The AC was poor, but the breakfast and indoor badminton were for the win.

No durian in the elevators, always a bonus.

First time in Balikpapan and YOU have to go! It’s the city with amazing food. I stay in Swiss Bel Inn Hotel, The service i received was so amazing and i will definitely be back again. They made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience.

I like the view, and for the food was very delicious. Best in town⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice place to stay, in the central of the city, easy to go anywhere. Good variety food for breakfast. Love it!

Stayed here for the whole week, and the room was nice, clean, and quite spacious. The view was fabulous it faced straight to the sea. It's located next to a mall, so it's easy to get anything I needed. Variety of food choice for breakfast, but, it's just some of the menu were repeated for the whole week, for example, the yellow rice and lontong sayur. Would be nice if they totally have a different set of menu instead of repeating the same menu the next day over and over again.

The room was spacious for 2 beds, but everything was a bit strange-placed (you'll see in the picture). The sofa was super awkward looking, but not a main concern. Everything else is just ok 😃

Good view to east coastal, close to center city

The room is so clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet with the variety of food and change everyday. Thanks to Mas Janu for the service, i hope all staff have skill service same like this mas janu

1. Swissbel Hotel Balikpapan is located strategically in the city center of Balikpapan and close to a shopping center.
2. It has comfortable rooms and magnificent view of sea.
3. There are lots of choices during breakfast and they are tasty.
4. The cleanliness and healthiness are well maintained by the property.

The hotel was OK, overlooking the sea - beautiful view was almost guaranteed daily, the whole hotel building is pretty well maintained, the room was clean and spacious, parking was adequate but it was hard to navigate - I guess it's because the hotel was located on the mall complex, so they have to share parking spot, on the flip side the mall is pretty deserted aside from one or two small shop.

breakfast buffet was great, lots of choices, pretty good taste. the restaurant also have beautiful view looking out to the open sea.

The price was a tiny bit expensive.

wifi is fast and ubiquitous, but you gotta keep changing hotspot, which is weird.

Good, nice, clean room and hotel, very very close to beach, but not sand beach. You will find hard wind every time out of hotel room, all of night full of wave sound.
Elevator is quite slow, it take long time to waiting.
But, view from room is awesome, and if you open balcony door, hard wind is welcome.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, location very strategies near many food stores.

One of the best hotel in this center of town. Suitable for family holiday, office trip or honemoon for couples. Request for Beach View. It is add your experience stay for while in this hotel. Sounds of the sea an the wind breeze are the extra that you get in here. The officer are very humble, polite and helpful.The food taste is delicious. This hotel connecting to Balikpapan Ocean Square and very close to Balikpapan Plaza.

Great hotel. I stayed for one night with my family and have a great experience. The room is really clean and has a great view. And its in one area with mall and movie theatre.
It's located in the middle of the city, so it won't be hard to go to nearby place.
But the elevator is so small so it will take time if you come with large group
With cheap price and this kind of service, it's really worth it.
Definitely gonna stay at this hotel again.

The crew was so nice, polite, and good at service. I didnt take so much time ask for an iron. I spent 3 nights stay in this hotel and I love to visit again. Dont worry about the foods. They have a lot of delicious foods. I always love when breakfast time. I amazed with the view, such a nice view ever. You can check the picture that I upload. But one thing that I didnt like, they have separate lift access. So there are two access lift. I was in room 1212 wich is in secondary lift. I couldn't directly access to restaurant in 1st floor. So i should down to the lobby, then move to main lift. I think that make less comorftable. But it's ok, I change my mind and give them 5 stars cause the management replied my first review. What a great management there. Thank you for the service

A decent chain hotel in Balikpapan with supeeb view to the sea. One complex with a ghost mall called Balikpapan Ocean Square Mall / Balcony City Mall. The nearest coffee shop outside the hotel are JCO and Bangi. The rest is a huge empty mall.

The hotel is pretty nice, simple but looks a bit old and should have been well maintained. Some dust in the reception area and some chips here and there. Maybe time for renovation.

The officers are very friendly. The sea view from the room is superb, too bad it was raining when I stayed.

The coffee shop on the 1st level has breath taking sea view. The breakfast food is abundant but kinda mixed review.

The American / continental breakfast was complete but very regular. It was okay and that's all about it.

The Indonesian breakfast is superb. Lots of choices and the taste is strong. Unlike other hotel's "regular taste". This Indonesian breakfast is highly recommended.

Price is pretty reasonable. But the dead mall giving a creepy feeling tho...

But again, the hitel management team respond to this review means: professional hoteliers are in the house. And for that: 5 star!

Great service. A nice room with comfy bed and pillows. Ordered room service which was prompt. One of the best steaks that I have eaten in quite some time. Good location and would definitely stay again.

The room is nice, even though I could smell cigarettes in the bathroom when I clearly on the nonsmoking floor. They offer a great variety of food for breakfast, they also taste good so that's a plus. It located on ocean park(?) I'm not sure. It's kinda mall that nobody goes so there are only a few tenants. I only remember jco, payless, sketchers(?), and cinema xxi. Not to worried about food cause there's a more crowded mall right beside it. And so many nearby fast food. To put it short, I had a pleasant stay.
