Accessibility to this airport is quite good. Very clean and cozy atmosphere. Not crowded. Spacious area. The staff are kind and helpful.

Modern, well designed and operating as airhub for East Borneo. Accesible from the city center of Balikpapan. The areas are clean and well kept. This airport will serve the new capital, Nusantara in the near future.

International scale airport, clean and very modern. Transit point when going back to the city of Sengatta. Many comfortable and inexpensive hotels are available near the airport, you just have to be smart in choosing them.

Airport at Balikpapan City... like a mall cause there are many tenants for coffee, dessert, minimart, etc... but i'm going to airport for pound day with our comunity... there are one place outdoor beside the arriving to do this without disturb other passagers...

Airport is new and clean. It is not crowded. It has good facilities; reading area, play area for kids, even water stations to refill your water bottle. Free strollers are available for people with small kids tk use. Overall, nice airport to use. The a/c is not as cold though. Feels more like a fan.

The airport of my hometown. I witnessed this airport from just an airfield until it turned into an international airport. From only being landed by propeller planes until now, many jet planes have landed here. Its area also increased very significantly. Now this airport has many facilities, from coffee shops to restaurants, from places to shop for souvenirs typical of Kalimantan to ATM centers. Check-in places are lined up neatly at the airport. The toilet is very clean and fragrant. Hopefully this airport will continue to develop and be kept clean as a local heritage

One of the best international airports in Indonesia is indeed cool. The modern design and completeness of the facilities make everyone feel at home for long time here even though the plane is delayed.

The toilet is uniquely full of sight and clean. The waiting room which is designed is intersting and equipped with many facilities of m the passengers

Just 20 minutes from the city centre. The airport terminal is new and spacey. All necessary services available here such as WiFi, Check-in kiosks, wrapping service, souvenir and handicraft shop, restaurant, ATM, money changer and car rental.

The airport looks new and still area still vacant especially arrivals area compare with departure area that many restaurants and cafe's available.

This is what great airport looks like, the building is well illuminated by the natural light and save a lot of electric power, inside the airport you will see a bunch of garden which is good for the climate around the airport. The services here is fast and reliable, the security systems also great. The facilities here such as prayer room, toilet, restaurant and others are well cleaned and tidy, you can take a shower at the restroom at terminal 10. This airport is kid-friendly and they provide stroller rental at the departure terminal. This place also have shopping mall at the underground level(arrival terminal). You will be enjoyed in this airport, no doubt.

Very clean, neat and beautiful. They served so many facilities like souvenir shop, restaurant, etc. This airport look alike a mall! They have many garden also inside an airport. Have very good ambience so peoples can enjoy the architecture and its interior while waiting their flight schedule. The interior dominated by Dayak's batik as their culture identity. What an airport!!

Such a great International airport in Indonesia. The toilets were clean, the waiting room was modern, completed with shops and restaurants. Check-in counters were fully worked. The ground staffs were well knowledged and friendly. I really enjoyed my visit here though.

Huge and representative international airport, biggest in East Borneo. Clean and nice.

Quiet big airport, and has historical stories from colonial. Very nice, complete and well manage airport at Balikpapan. This airport not to far from city and also easy transportation in or out. Well manage facility which are very clean and the important things are the security is very good come visit Balikpapan! Come and visit Indonesia!!!

The First modern airport in Kalimantan with sea view. The pick up area in first floor and the drop up area at second floor are crowded. So many car stop over 3 minutes and many of them park. It's crowded.

Definitely the best Indonesia airport I've ever visited, probably even better than T3 Soekarno-Hatta at some aspect. Modern, spacious, clean, well built, neat layout, you name it all. This airport even have free cinema room, great time killer for those who have delayed or waiting too long

Waiting room are vast enough to stay while waiting on board. Facility are quite in complete package. You can find bird sometimes enter the boarding room since the roof are open on side to promote energy efficient. The cafe inside boarding room are various and you can buy souvenier here if you forget to buy outside airport. There os a cart that you can hop on off. Nice upgrade to the airport since i miss so much the crafty old airport building.
