Novotel Balikpapan

My most favorite part of this place is their pool. It's so cool and refreshing plus the beautiful view. The rooms are also cozy and staff are so warm. Good thing I decided to book here for my business trip.

Old hotel, a bit spooky but still had a good location and well serving.

The overall experience was great for me, I like the view, where you can see the ocean while swimming in the pool. For the price, you'll get an elegant room paired with tasty food. I love the experience.

I had the best time here! I actually wanted to stay at ibis but its full. So I moved here. It has great ambience, really classy yet comfortable. The room is pretty big. You can see the ocean from the pool. It has spa and gym as well. The breakfast are really nice! Various food and drinks. The jamu taste good as well. I love the desserts. It is not too far from town. Definitely will comeback when I visited Balikpapan next time!

Novotel did a good improvement after the pandemic, the services, room hotel even ballroom. You will get nice impression for staying in this hotel. The location in the center of Balikpapan city, near the Melawai beach, restaurant, mall and park.
One more thing, the sales staff was very helpful, friendly and reachable, thanks to mba Tesda who always ready and support all of our event.

Great place to stay, and you are within reach of many places inside the city centre. I have great experiences staying here. All the services are top notch, they cater to your needs quickly and the ambience within your room makes you relaxed even more after a long meeting and or after sightseeing. All in all I highly recommended this place to stay whether you're on work or just staycation during the weekends.

This is a great hotel in my opinion. It is near a shopping mall which is great, the shopping mall near the hotel is a great place. The view in Novotel is beautiful and it is near a beach so you can drive there and enjoy the beach. The food here is delicious, I had breakfast there and it was wonderful. The rooms here are nice and comfortable, I had a great and quiet sleep there. The staff here are friendly and will help you when there is a problem with your stay. I have stayed here 2 times already and I haven't had any problems while staying here. So Overall this is a great hotel, I'd recommend this place to those who want to relax and enjoy Balikpapan.

Grande lobby and spacious room. There's bath tub in the bathroom as well. I ordered sandwich for supper and the room service was great, but the food price was quite pricey as expected from a hotel. The breakfast was fabulous, they even had coffee stand and 3 cofee machines.
They had panoramic lift with pool view, indoor playground for kids, and even lactation/nursing room!

I have a very pleasant stay at Novotel Balikpapan. The staffs are very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and more than adequate. The sea views are spectacular. Prime location that fit all of your needs. Excellent work from the Management and staffs.

Although the building is a little bit old, their services are excellent. We came too early around 10 AM, but they allowed us to check-in. They also served crabs on breakfast! I really love this hotel and definitely will come back again.

A comfortable hotel with friendly service. It's a good idea not to provide plastic bottles, but to prepare glass bottles that can be refilled at will. In a pandemic situation, please keep the health protocols.

Stayed here for almost 3 weeks, I was really satisfied with the facility and hospitality. What makes them unique is that they supported the eco friendly lifestyle. They didn't provide bottles of mineral water like other hotels, but they had a pitcher in every room, thus guests can fill it with water from gallons provided on the corridor instead. The room was very clean. The breakfast menus were delicious, including the famous Mantau that guests can buy as a souvenir. However, some of the equipments in the fitness centre need to be repaired.

Hotel staff is very friendly, room also good and I love the bathroom cause they have bath tube. Food also taste good and swimming pool also so fun. And the important things if you want to choose hotel for stay is access. Its easy to be access not. Novotel is good choices, cause they're so close with Taman Bekapai (so many foodstreet over here), Ocean Resto, Plaza Balikpapan and so many Bank around. That so good

A 4-star hotel establishment in Banjarmasin.

Novotel has its own unique atmosphere that makes me feel as being gtreted "welcome back", wherever it stands.

Thia is a good hotel, very comfy, service is the best. Break Fast is a regular menu, but the Nasi Goreng is fragrabt and pretty good. Not that too plain nasi goreng you usually find in a breakfast buffet.

The room is comfy, but I guess it is time for renovation. But I think it would be very difficult since Covid has just been relaxed.

In overall Novitel lives up to its name. The service isbalways friwndly and efficient. Loved it!

Always choose this Hotel everytime I visit Balikpapan. From security, receptionist, waiters, gym staff are really nice n friendly. You should try the burger, very thick n delicious. I luv the gym eventhough can be so crowded. You also need to try the swimming pool, they have the best view from the pool.

The best place to rest and get a good sleep. The Kingcoil mattress and pillows are soft and very comfortable. The room is very clean and neat. The front desk and restro staff are very friendly and humble and helpful. Waiting for every morning breakfast to test the coffees and locally made Jamu. First time I tested the Jamu and it Was good.
