Ocean's Resto Balikpapan

What an amazing experience as you walk in the door you are greeted by a beautiful display of fresh seafood. You pick your meals from the array of fresh produce and then they take you to your seat. The tables are set in a beautiful garden setting overlooking the ocean. The food comes out shortly after and it was amazing. Truly a wonderful eating experience and worth doing if in balikpapan.

Great place was spacious and recommended for people who want to have meals with the ocean view... You also can watch sunset from it's deck. The indian foods, like chicken tandoori and nasi briyani were delicious while for tom yam and some other seafoods are plain. It was surprise since they claim as a seafood restaurant.

We ordered grilled fish, shrimp in salted egg sauce.

Lovely place , great view. Hearing the beach waves at night while enjoying nice food under the sparkling stars. Will come back again soon!

This restaurant is overlooking the sea with its own terrace providing a great view over the bay. The menu is absolutely huge and features sea food as well as a large selection of Indonesian and international dishes. Pricing is more in the upper category for sea food but quality is indeed very high and the food tasty.

I am so excited that I chose Ocean over other seafood restaurants.

Reservation was so easy and all the staff so helpful.

The place is near the ocean as its name. So you can choose table in outdoor so you can get the sea view. This gave the same vibes like batam.
It is good place to have a dinner with your family, friends, or your partner.
The price is not that different to other seafood restaurant. There are also steak and bar.
You can choose which fish you want the chef cook. Those are fresh.
It’s better for you to make a reservation first esp when you want to get outdoor.

Situated beach front. Good selection of fresh seafood and a variety of cook8ng options. Ordered 2 big fish, 2 big crabs, 2 portion of prawns, 2 portion of vegies, chicken, squid, drinks etc........all for less than 200 feeling 10 people. Value for money and worth a try if you r in a group.
Service could improve though as we needed to keep hunting for the waiter.

Located in seaside makes this restaurant became more interesting. They have indoor and outdoor concept. If you want to have dinner with your group/friends then this can be a good option since they have quite wide space. They have various of recipes/dishes and this would be great since you have a lot of alternatives. A bit costly but this is worth it since you will receive nice service, good food and great ambience in this restaurant. So if you stop by at Balikpapan then try to find this restaurant and enjoy it .

The food is so fresh. I tried it's shrimp it's very delicious. Accompany by coconut on it's original taste is very fresh. You should try with your family or friends. It's okay for you to dine alone but the portion will be so big and you can't shared with other menu.

Good place to bring your clients. Fast response waiters. But their sambal not so tasty, standard. For indonesian, sambal is the key. Please try to improve your sambal recipe.

Great sea food, in a very beautiful ambience.
The fish, very fresh and excellent quality, served perfectly cooked and prepared.
Waiting time for the beer 🍺 ... next time hopefully more fast.

Quite a scenic place for dining. The outdoor tables are placed along the coast facing the Makassar Strait and be advised that when it's windy out patrons will get sprayed by the crashing waves. Great quality food varieties with seafood being the most popular options.
