G'Roby Józsefvárosi Supermarket

With fresh meat, Salami and delicious Strudel!

We stopped by GRoby numerous times during our two weeks in Budapest and they never disappointed!

Great selection of healthy foods and household goods! We purchased Vegetables, Water, Butter, Coconut Oil, and Paper Towel.

My favourite market in the neighborhood. Friendly athmospere, kind and helpful stuff, quality products. Not the cheapest but at least you can find everything in one place and with good quality.
Fresh groceries, meats, household stuffs, drinks, bakeries and so on. In weekdays it opens early and open till 9 PM.

I love this supermarket! Its near me and I prefer it to Spar or Penny (the other options I have in the vecinity :-)) ) it's not very big but not small and surprisingly well stocked, they have my favourite dairy products (from Cserpes) and fresh salmon, fresh baked goods, some cooked foods too (like cold salads, breaded vegetables, sausages and others) a pretty nice selection of fresh packaged cheeses like gouda and goat cheese, olives, dips, sun dried tomatoes and more. Also fresh fruit and vegetables and pretty much anything you might need grocery wise, from lower to higher prices so a wide varity of choice. There are 4 cashiers working, so even when its crowded it moves really fast. Yep, short of a bigger Lidl or Aldi, this is my go-to place :)

Better stuff than the super markets in the area. The alcohol selection & cheese selection beats every other super market in the area, it seems to have a more premium feel.

Very good place to buy all you need in the kitchen.

Decent selection for a small store. A good place to get the essential groceries.

Many products significantly cheaper here than in other supermarkets.

As foreigners we were very well received there

The only negative thing about this place is that it is a little small, but otherwise it is excellent!

Sokkal kulturáltabb emberek járnak ide mint a szomszédos penny marketbe(az egy fertő) . Nekem mindig egy sokk ha a másik üzletbe kell vásárolnom míg a G'robyban a legtöbbször normalis emberekkel találkozok.
A bolt maga nem a legnagyobb de ez így egy sarki boltnak tökéletes is.

Tiszta üzlet, feltöltött készletek, rendezett sorok! És kapható a kedvenc gesztenyém.

Vannak dolgok amiért ide járok.

Nagyon kedves kiszolgálás, barátságos, takaros bolt :) Legtöbbször megtalálom, amit keresek, vagy ha netán mégse lenne így, akkor az eladók szívesen segítenek. A süteményeik is ár-érték arányban megfelelő minőségűek, és több olyan termék is elérhető, ami más boltokban nem :)
