Kashmir Bazar Budapest

I visited this place for the first time cuz my friend recommended to me.The place is crowded and it has a wired smell but I guess that's because all those spices. (Who knows?)
I found everything that I wanted. The prices are high!! "Probably cuz the import fees" I don't know but this place would be better if the prices will be lower a bit cuz 5kg basmati rice is around 6000-7000 HUF but I saw some even 10000 HUF which is literally a crime!! :) The black guy who works there was friendly and he helped me to find all spices. The cashier was also friendly. Recommended!!!

I went to the place to get some groceries and halal products. There is a lot of options to satisfy asian palate and at a quite affordable prices than other stores in the city.

Stayed true to the stereotype there is an Indian store anywhere. Came in so handy and as a savior for my daughter - got some flavored yogurt, biscuits and banana that lasted a few days through the tour. Could be kept a little tidy to walk around but otherwise a great little convenience store.

The best review for food this week goes to this shop. For those that love Ogbono soups seed for 660 HUF per pack. It's the cheapest in the country for now. Also They reduced their 5kg basmati rice to 5000huf which is cheaper than Aldi and other raw food sellers in the Blaha and Budapest. Also their Mackerel fish is cheaper than Kohinoor bazaar. Also people who likes beef should buy from their shop as it's cheaper

For sure, a 1 stop to grab all indian spices who like to use in cooking. Starting coriander, mint leaves in veg to all sort of lentils, tamarind etc... You can find all sorts of flours, including ashirvad atta for roti, parathas. Prices are a little high since it is very hard to find in Hungary these things.

You can get halal meat & chicken inside as well. Whoever in Hungary struggling to cook indian food due to difficulty in finding spices, they can visit this shop in Budapest.

Hats off to Kashmir Bazar, today without a doubt the cheapest store for Eastern goods. One of those few stores that genuinely decrease their prices if they can (for example if they import in larger batches).

One stop for a vast variety of international groceries. Owners are kind,shop assistants are helpful. I recommend this bazar if you're looking for quality and the value for your money.
