The atmosphere is unique. I was for many minutes contemplating the wall covered by the celebrities portraits that attended to this magical, cozy and warming restaurant. Definitely the best experience in Budapest in matters of food. Nice selection of wines and the food is very creative, well presented and the staff very friendly and fast to serve you and attempting to all the details. I had an excellent remarkable experience and definitely we would return once we go back to Budapest. I wish all the restaurants on Earth would be same level than this one! Highly recommended. The price is a bit elevated for the area but same that they practice in London, and because the food is really nice, it’s worthy!

We just got coffee, but the restaurant looks phenomenal, both inside and in the garden. The staff is extremely polite and overall it is a great experience.

True five-star experience at Pierrot cafe. My husband started with a perfect cream of mushroom soup with excellent presentation. He then had the vienna veal (schnitzel), and I had the veal paprikosh, both excellent. Service was superb. The piano player was a true hungarian master. I would highly recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Stunning secret garden, super hideaway with friends or family fantastic food and desserts. Really top quality. Also far from the crowds… I highly recommend.

Amazing atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and food is absolutely delicious. Could have a few more vegetarian options but I can't complain too much. The piano player is extremely talented. A little pricey but you get what you paid for. Definitely worth visiting for a special occasion.

Really impressed with the atmosphere. Genuinely friendly waitresses, no fake smiles. Recommendations were spot on! Tried coming back again for an early lunch, a few days later, but the kitchen is open only after 12.

An amazing dining experience! The waiter recommended a local white. Crisp, dry, fruity and deliscious.

Started with the carrot soup. Well rounded. The asparagus and mushroom starter was a work of art.

The duck in puff pastry is one of the best duck dishes I've ever eaten. Tender and juicy.

A must visit location if you are in the castle district.

The restaurant is nice with a good atmosfere. All the staff was present and ready to help and explain the menu. A plus of the evening was the piano man that makes a romantic atmosfere. Wa tried dishes from the traditional hungarian menu, the goulash soup was the best tried in Budapest and the duck legs with puffy pastry and apple cabbage was simply amazing. I strongly raccomand this place.

A firm 5 stars for me. Taste, quality of food, service and value. I strongly recommend the duck leg in puff pastry (yums) and the forest mushroom with Jerusalem artichoke. The cheek of piglet was good but surpassed by the duck leg. We also had the Guinea fowl consommé (total bill eur76). They can help validate your parking so squeeze in a 3 hour visit to buda Castle / St matthias Church!

This was the nicest restaurant experience during my weekend stay in Budapest. Cozy atmosphere, pleasent live piano music, very tasty food from apetizer to desert. Good wine selection. I would repeat with a pleasure.

The food was delicious and so elegant... and consequently turned out to be a bit beyond my price range. It was a nice experience nonetheless.

My visit to the Pierrot café Restaurant in Budapest in the mid-1990s left a lasting impression on me, I especially recall the exceptional flavor of the chestnut crepe that I was fortunate enough to taste, and of course, the immersive atmosphere with live piano music.

The chicken paprikash was incredible. We ate in the garden and it was a beautiful experience. Definitely a highlight of our trip!
