Fantasy Island Beach Resort, Dive & Marina

Did not stay at the hotel-was a guest of their beautiful, clean private beach. Pleasant facilities. Brand new kayaks. Would definitely go again.

It was a good place to stay, great value, and no issues during our time there. The times for the meals were met, the food was good, the room was excellent with access directly to the beach, the people who assisted us were nice, and the location was great. Hoping to return!

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was worried by reading the negative reviews after I made my reservation for 3 days 2 night, but I ended up having a great time. The rooms are comfortable. Has basic things like a safe, tv, shower, and bed. If you are expecting 5 star accommodations, this is not for you. Yes, the alcohol is bottom shelf but I was okay with that and enjoyed taking advantage of the "all inclusive". Don't skip the Pina colada. The staff was great and food was really good. You have to remember that you are in Honduras. If you are expecting things to be "American" then again this is not the place for you. The best things about this place is the beach and the pool. Outside was very beautiful and well maintained. The tours were amazing. I can't wait to come back next year!

This is our second visit, and this time I saw many changes in their facilities.
I'm glad to see they remodeled the lobby and various areas; it looks much more modern. The food, as always, is a 10/10.

I was completely pleased with the variety of food and drink.

We had a great time and loved swimming in the water. The bartender was kind and funny. I highly recommend visiting here if you can.

This place is amazing to relax and enjoy a peaceful vacation, not to crowded beautiful clean beach.

This was right up our alley:) we took the kids to DR last year and neither one had a good time at all considering… fast forward to fantasy island this year and both were at their element! Lots for them to do together/ with us and on their own. Was truly a vacation for everyone!

We had two rooms. One on the beach and one just beside, upstairs. Worked out well for us:)

The beach-AMAZING!! 10 star ⭐ Couldn’t have been better!! The most warm, clear and calm water great for fish sightings and just laying around:) Because it’s private-an island off of an island off of a country- super safe and quiet.

The rooms-We had two-beach house and building. Yes, ok fine it’s not the ritz. If you are a “travel snob”, don’t come here and ruin the atmosphere or ratings. Might be dated but, Rooms are very clean, witnessed every day just being steps away every day at our canopy. One thing I cannot stress enough is the hard work and consistency day after day. Whether it be for the rooms, restaurant or property/beach. Hands down amazing 🤩

Food- So good! Not your typical row after row buffet. It’s honestly like going to someone’s house for food on the island (I would imagine🤷🏽‍♀). There’s plenty, amazingly home cooked and tastes delicious. Always rotating day after day something for everyone.

Don’t bother commenting if you came during hurricane season, or expect to have a Hilton experience when you are in a third world country. Staff were amazing and the abundance of animals on land and in the ocean was spectacular. Great spot if you are looking for authentic local experience, instead of overpriced and overbooked tourist spots.

Amazing private location with PRIME snorkeling action but if you're expecting 5 stars this is not the place for you at all
They are updating but still have a ways to go

They also have a dive school on site if you want to try your hand at scuba diving

Fantastic resort! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfy. The food was delicious with lots of selection from day to day. The beach....well the beach is the best I've been to! Don't let the 3 star rating deter you. I've stayed at plenty if 5 stars and had terrible experiences. This is a must see. I will be returning!!! Thank you #fantasyislandbeachresort for an incredible holiday!!

Fantastic location, customer service is great and the restaurant & bar have good food, fabulous passion fruit cocktails and friendly bartenders

We had our money moon here and it was really nice!! We had a great get away and food was very very good.

Rooms are very clean, and have the basic needs, drinks and service it's pretty nice, you can connect with nature very easily monkeys and guatusas all around.

If you’re traveling to Roatan for vacation and looking to save money this is the perfect place to stay. The hotel is located around 25 minutes from the airports and is well know for Honduran nationals which mean is more like a three-star hotel. The food was okay but no AC in the lobby or restaurant just one room. The beach areas are charming and the staff well educated. I loved my stay, and I’ll return to explore more.

We chose to do this as an excursion off of Norwegian. Lots of personalize service. I would highly recommend it. Elia was a fantastic guide.

A really nice spot to get away and relax. Beautiful beaches and wonderful nature. You can see monkeys, peacocks, birds, watusa, and big iguanas. The staff is amazing and really made us feel welcome. All the staff was great but Enrique and Judith at the front desk were over and above amazing. Dinia in the dining room is wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The staff at the dive shop is top notch! Shout out to Pancho at the dive shop who's quick action probably saved a man's life who was snorkeling at the gazebo. The diving off the gazebo is great with a shipwreck and a sunken plane. Matteo in the lobby will arrange any tours or taxis you need. Great place.

Did not stay in the resort, however were there through an excursion on a cruise ship. The private beach cove was beautiful! Such clear water! We also took off on a snorkeling trip off of the coast where we got to witness a sunken ship! The guides were knowledgeable and safe! Thank you!

I came here and it was not soo bad. I wouldn't recommend getting a room so far away from the lobby, since you won't have a good view from your balcony onto the ocean Beach front. My room came with all you can drink alcohol and buffet. They have a nice pool area and the ocean is clear light blue like Hawaii. If your with friends and family but still want something quiet then this place is it. If your looking for lots of people, noise, bars and excitement then head over to West End.

If your rich or have money to spend then stay at the Pristine Bay you won't regret it. The only thing is that it's very VERY lonely since it's expensive.

Wherever you stay, you WILL ENJOY THE ISLAND!! 😀
