Little French Key

We loved Little French Key! It's gorgeous, and off the beaten path so not too crowded. We went as a part of a tour (thanks Real Deal Roatan!), and had a great time. The bar staff were very friendly (but we did need to go to the bar to order, we didn't have a waiter) and our drinks and food were great. The island platter was really good!

There are lots of animals here, but based on some things I'd read online, I kind of steered clear of them, let them do their thing... Except for petting the sweet little pier cat where you catch the ferry.

Our favorite thing was snorkeling- we saw tons of fish by the wave breaker wall, that was great. Then we explored a little beyond and saw a lionfish!! Very cool. The water is calm and Crystal clear, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy your beach day- water swings, spots to jump in, and lots of areas where the water isn't too deep, so great even if you're not a strong swimmer.

We'll definitely visit again!

Little French Key was a true Island Paradise. The staff, especially Nick was so accommodating and friendly, he made the experience on the Island stress free. Steven our guide on the transport bus was great and really educated us about the Island. We swam with the pigs and road horses in the ocean. The food was fantastic! We loved seeing all of the free range animals roaming around. This is definitely a must see place! Loved it!!!

Our family absolutely loved this place!!! We can't wait to come back. It was the best stop on the cruise!!!

I went to Big French Key.
It was pretty nice. Water was nice.
Drinks are way over priced.
This is basically a third world country. A mixed drink shouldn't cost $12. I'm talking around 8 ounces of liquid. The buffet is really basic. Hot sauce was great. I had to buy a couple bottles of that.
The people were really friendly. They barely spoke any English. Just don't ask any questions except basic stuff.

Little French Key is absolutely gorgeous. Family friendly place with great food and drinks. Interacting with the monkeys was a lot of fun. Great place for swimming, snorkeling, and catching the sun. Safe, clean, with friendly staff.. I got a massage that was amazing. Designate one day to spend there. Highly recommended

Hands down my favorite excursion! The property, the staff and whole experience were beyond my expectations. Came home booked another cruise specifically so I could come back with my husband and two kids. Quiet, private paradise with good food and drinks. Highly recommend! Shout out to Samir for being the BEST WAITER! Visited May 2023.

We had a very nice time at this beach club resort today! The food was probably the tastiest we have had since starting our cruise on Sunday! Our teenage boys had food to please them too! Alberto was a great server and attentive to our needs. Leo, Billy, Larissa were all very welcoming for booking and arrival. Our driver Mayer and his side kick guide Sebastian were knowledgeable and made us feel safe from beginning t end of the drive :-) Definitely will tell others to go to this magical resort!

We decided to elope here at the LFK and it was the best choice! Larissa made everything so perfect it exceeded what we discussed on the phone. If you are looking for the perfect wedding day or just to hang out for swimming and have great food this is the place to be! Thank you so much for making our time here so amazing!

It was amazing, everyone was so nice. It wasn't packed, enough room to spread out. Snorkeling was amazing! The island is a paradise.

I can only describe the little french key as a slice of heaven on earth. It was the most magical experience and absolutely beautiful. The best hidden little gem and if your lucky enough yo visit make sure you plan a whole day here. From the animals, to the snorkeling, crystal clear water, amazing staff, i wish i could have spent a week there, or could live there. I will be back!

Beautiful area and great service from staff. We came here on a cruise stop and we loved it. It was our favorite. The animal rescue sanctuary is a wonderful service they provide to the animals of all kinds. We did an exotic animal swim experience while on the island and our family loved it. The photos from that experience were incredible. The food on the island was also really good and very fresh.

This place was amazing! So many fun things to do, alongside relaxing beaches and calm water. All of the staff were amazing and our driver to the dock Daniel was very pleasant as well! Will be coming back!

Beautiful resort . Friendly service and the animals are very well taken care of . Drinks are not strong but the food is good . Coming back this summer with my children .

Beautiful clear beaches; the staff is very friendly and courteous. The whole place is beautiful even though they recently were victims of arson and were still rebuilding during our stay. Some of the staff walks around with monkeys and sloths that you can pet and hold to take pictures with. It was an all around great experience.

The place has been ALWAYS OPEN!! The websites are just black mailing the resort.

I was everything I expected. I have to say that the current owner is being "black publicity" by the ex-owner over Instagram and the old webpage. The story of conflict starts with the ex husband of the current couple (you see where I am getting). Well,. The 2 slands has 3 owners, and it's divided but basically little french is a beautiful place to stay and pretty big too. It has almost 4 beaches around fully clear and beautifull. They have docks and 2 restaurants in order to eat. The place and bathrooms are clean, nothing to complain.

Recommendations:
Is a little expensive, but I suggest the cheapest version.

I don't suggest the pig attraction for $20, but easy replace it with all the other activities that they have

You better get early, since the place is beautifull

I HAVE TOOOO go snokling. Please, do it. Be no fear. You have a channel of 400mtrs that connects little french with fantasy island. USE IT!!!!!!!!

If you go snorkeling use duck shoes (I don't know how to say that snorkeling thing), or at least swim shoes because is an OPEN NATURE expiriance, and there are occasionally sea ​​urchins so be careful where you step on.

The food: umm there are better plates on the island, around $15. If you want a meal better buy inside the slands or being your own!!

Non alcoholic drinks $3, alcoholic around $8.

The attention is super cool, the people is so, so, so nice except with the girl recepcionist, is a little Sirius.

Beautiful! I loved my whole time on the island. Despite a recent fire, the beach and facilities were clean and lovely. Others I talked to said the food was delicious, especially the conch ceviche. So few people were there when I was there, it was like a private beach. Paddle boards, kayaks, swings, calm swimming areas ...

This place was amazing! Had the best time there. The snorkeling was absolutely to die for! We also got to play with the monkeys, lucky and Lola!
