Really great place for lunch. I ordered the brisket burger, it was literally one of the best burgers I have ever had and the sweet potatoe garlic fries were also awesome.

Cinnamon bun for desert was a must as well.

Owner and staff are very welcoming and courteous. Nearly everyone at the dive shop we were diving with for over a week was raving about this place.

Sandy Buns is a delicious breakfast / lunch joint in the West End. This Texas style restaurant lives up to everything is bigger in Texas. The portions are large but well priced and the food is delicious but be prepared to need to take a walk after your meal. Our wait was short and the staff work quickly to flip tables as it is a small space. The place is kept cool with fans and the staff is very attentive for how busy they get. We will definitely be coming back.

These were the fluffiest most delicious pastry buns we had on the island. They make them fresh daily and sometimes run out so get there early. We went two days back to back just for the buns!! We love traveling and always trying new places thanks to Traveladdicts.shop

Ordered a brisket sandwich to go and it was fantastic! Generous portion of fatty brisket with sweet potato fries and queso on a fresh bun. Sweet buns they are looked amazing as well and my kids raved about everything they had there a couple of days before.

Flavorful & inexpensive breakfast. The breakfast sandwich is great—not too heavy & very tasty on the bagel. The cinnamon roll is a reasonable size & great with coffee. Breakfast burrito is good, too.
Any place that you can get two entree, a cinnamon roll & two coffees for under $20 is a 👏🏼👏🏼.

As a Texan, this food/BBQ is phenomenal. I would eat every meal here if I could. Everything I’ve had here has been amazing and easily the best food I’ve had on the island.

Great place. Great food. We almost ate here twice, but decided to try more new things while we were here. The cinnamon rolls are ridiculously good. The brisket burgers are also top notch. I would tell everyone coming here to make sure you don’t miss it. Thought it was just a bakery (from the name), so I would have missed this completely if some fellow divers hadn’t have insisted we go there!

Each and everytime we eat here the food is awesome! Breakfast or lunch, both delish! Cinnamon rolls are to die for! Jalapeno biscuits and gravy should be a food group!! Shantell and company are legit!!

Such good food! We ate here twice for breakfast during our vacation. The cinnamon rolls are the best ever. I was not expecting the avocado toast to be so big and couldn't finish it all, it was excellent! We also had the biscuits and gravy - the jalapeno cheddar biscuits are good too. Pretty sure everything on the menu would be excellent!

A must stop for breakfast and lunch. The cinnamon rolls, burgers and BLT are our favorites. Huge portions for that post dive hunger. The staff is great. Can’t miss spot in West End!

Hands down the best sweet potato fries i have ever had. The burgers and buns are huge. It might not be the best idea to eat here before diving (greasy) but it's a great spot to come after! Delicious!

Best Texan/Roatan breakfast on the island. This is your overkill breakfast that is delicious and massive. Every detail of the Texan Benedict was done with perfection. Brisket melts in your mouth, gravy bursting in flavor, and eggs/potatoes/bread portion correctly! If you have room, make sure to get the jalapeno biscuit chicken sandwich drenched in yummy honey.

Awesome food! We ate here two times. Huge portion sizes and great prices. We especially loved the avocado toast and the cinnamon rolls. Restaurant is outdoors and a little crowded but fun place overall. Also nice that the waiters and owner speak good English.

Greatest place. Loved the food and the service. One of twoxplaces on thecisland we ate more then once and the only one I, intentionally planned to return to eat at. I had the texas two step burger twice i think and wife had regular brealfast burrito and a salad. Would recommend all three.

Always a great place to fill up as all plates are generous and delicious. I'm a fan of their cinnamon bun warmed up with different icing flavors depending on the chef's mood. Never disappoints!

We finally tried Sandy Buns on our last day in roatan. Not disappointed. Excellent food! Huge portions and the staff was super helpful. I saw the owner laughing and having fun with her staff which is always a big plus for me.

Great food! One of our favorite places in the west end. Sandwiches are excellent, I recommend the sweet potato fries. They have gluten free buns and bread and will fry your fries in clean oil, if that is important for you. Cinnamon rolls are great.
