Plenty of free samples. There is a variety of chocolates to choose from. Price is $5 a bar. They also have ice cream, two scoops for $5. While we were there cookies, cocoa nibs, and fresh juices were also available for purchase. It’s kept very clean and the staff were friendly.

Enjoyed the tour and free samples. Reaaonably priced, quality chocolate bars. Great souvenirs, or to enjoy yourself.

No matter how much time you have on the Island, this place should be at the top or near the top of places to visit while you're there. It's in the West End, which you might already be going to anyway, so there's no excuse. The service here is above and beyond. The food and drinks are very good, especially for a walk-in.

And of course the ethical chocolate. Lots of chocolate options: many different flavors of bars, nibs to snack, cacao loose tea, and more. I'm a professional engineer in the very large scale chocolate making industry and had to take their course in chocolate making. You'll learn to make chocolate the old Mayan way and you'll come home with your own chocolate bar. Get ahold of Dani to book your class. He's super friendly, very knowledgeable, has the passion, and will go out of his way to share it. With this coarse, it is possible to go home with the ability to get into the hobby of homemade chocolate making.

Can't recommend it enough!

Incredible chocolate, and customer service was outstanding. We had the rum cake and two Spiced Mayan Delight coffees (one hot, one iced). Waited a bit because the young man behind the counter got busy, but didn't care to wait at all. He gave us a free chocolate chip cookie to make up for it. Cookie was amazing, but wasn't necessary. We were on vacation! Highly recommend!

It was so fun to visit their shop. I purchased a few items and loved it all. The nibs did not melt like they said it would, but it still is delicious chocolate tea. Would love to purchase more.

My family really enjoyed the chocolate experience! We thought the educational portion at the beginning was very interesting and grew a new appreciation for hand crafted chocolate when making our own bars from scratch (shelling cocoa bean to bar). With a chance to try all of their chocolate, you knew exactly what you wanted to get by the end of the experience. Dani was very informative, upbeat, and fun. Highly recommend whether you like chocolate or not!

Nice tour stop with a good explanation of the process and plenty of tasting. A wide variety of things you can get that are chocolate related and some pretty gift boxes too. Prices are as expected for tourist gifts. The cafe on the main floor is nice and has more substantial food to offer.

This place doesn't seem like a big deal but it is actually really awesome. Our tour guide was awesome telling us so much good information. The chocolate is amazing and if you like dark rich chocolate they have that here.

We had a nice presentation of the fabrication process and the chance to taste all of their product.

Place is clean, people are smiling. They accept debit and credit cards with no extra fees.

You should at least drop by the smell the place all around.

We stopped there with a tourist bus, couldn't stay as long as we wanted

Don't miss this place if you're in Roatan. We found their shop at the cruise port under the big canopy, and sampled some of their delicious chocolate. David and Carey were there working the counter and they were the friendliest people!! David showed us a little demonstration of how cocoa is extracted and how the chocolates are made. They have chocolate bars, cocoa butter, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder and other goodies, and the chocolate is the real deal and delicious!! This will be a for sure stop every time we go to Roatan now.

What a wonderful treasure. Delicious chocolates, coffee, and more. Excellent indoor and outdoor seating with an ocean view and friendly Gato and staff. My husband pronounced the coffee he had today as the best in Roatan. Highly recommend.

Cool little shop that we stopped at during an excursion from a cruise, and it had a tour of how they make the chocolate on site with a tasting. We ended up buying some great chocolate and had a cookie as well. Highly recommend!

The Roatan Chocolate Factory was a fun place to visit. As I like non-gmo products and products with minimal processing, delicious chocolate that is fresh, well-made, and minimally processed and that doesn't contain dozens of food additives is always a plus. The Chocolate Factory was well worth the visit.

Not just chocolate! They now do breakfast... and lunchtime Indian Food specials at fair prices.

Many reasons to stop by. Conveniently located on the main strip in West End. Call ahead for group tours. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Our chocolate tour guide Dani was so knowledgeable from the history to the making of our own chocolate bars. We have a great time tasting all of the different kinds of chocolate and the hot sauce. Finding out about the endangered animals was just a bonus. A MUST stop for a tour (see the website) or just to drop in for a sweet fix. Delicious!

Small independent chocolate factory. Good speaker explaining the process. Samples of product, raw and finished.
Then there were the rums! Tastings and multitude of flavors. You have to appreciate the liquor to pay the price and then bring it back!

We came on a weekday and got to do the tour upstairs. It was very informative and very cool to see the process so up close and personal. We came downstairs and tried the free samples, and bought chocolate. I believe it was 5 bars of chocolate for $20. The cafe was sooo sooo cute and comfy. They also had an immense array of food to order. From paninis to Indian food to breakfast items, they have everything! I ordered an iced chocolate milk and it was DELICIOUS, but it was a little spicy? But it was good. It was so fun to walk around West End and pop in for a rest and cold drink. It’s definitely a must visit when visiting this part of the island.
