The lady pharmacist with glasses helped me immensely today with an emergency medication. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kindhearted to my situation and treated me with such respect and discretion. So thankful, please keep up the amazing work you guys x

Knowledgeable pharmacist - a bit abrupt but quite helpful

Amazing service. Went out for the day on holiday and forgot meds. Within 10 minutes I had the tablet I needed and the staff were very professional. So grateful to the staff member who organised it.

What wonderful service I received yesterday at Boots, Ambleside. I had left my asthma inhaler at home, and was staying overnight to celebrate my birthday.
I explained this to the Chemist, and he put me at ease straight away.
He spoke to my surgery and within minutes, I had my little life saver in my hand.
Thank you so much for the very efficient and friendly service.

The staff in Boots in Ambleside are amazing. They could not be more helpful. Both my husband and I have health issues and they are always available if we have any questions. Reordering medication is a swift and efficient process and the pharmacist is like a friend, she has helped us both over the years. The staff are always happy and helpful and go out of their way to help customers. Thank you for a great service.

Staff friendly and helpful

We needed a prescription in Ambleside urgently and arranged to pick it up from Ambleside.The lady who served my wife was very observant and noticed straight away that she had reached the ripe old age of 60 so no charge .My wife fully expected to pay and normally the counter assistans ask do you have to pay for your prescriptions and although Sue was 60 she looks 40. so she was overwhelmed the assistant had spotted her dob

A screw in my eyeglasses was loose and the lens was about to fall out. I was looking for an eyeglass repair kit. The assistant said they didn't have any, but if I the screw was still there she could fix them for me because she had a set of mini-screwdrivers in the drawer. And so she did! That is an example of great customer care!

Someone said not enough staff and slow service, more like great staff, helpful and never had to wait long... if the small town has an influx of 1000’s of tourists every day then yes sometimes you may have to wait your turn, hardly a hardship is it

The staff are excellent at Boots Ambleside, always very helpful to my Wife and myself through all our bad times.

The staff are helpful and the pharmacist really knows her products and goes out of her way to keep her customers happy.

Just another boots. It has most lines, but not since if the more niche products you'd see in larger boots stores.

First class food especially the meat counter never had a poor steak or chop.
