We drove past and saw the Christmas display and immediately knew I had to visit. A lot of time and effort has gone into the displays, a fabulous selection of Christmas decorations and gifts. It was a Sunday morning and was very busy, the car park which seemed quite spacious was queued when we left. Seemed a lovely garden centre although we mainly stuck to the Xmas and gift area.

Great variety of items from shoes, chocolates, food and toys for your pets, cakes, biscuits, beers, gins, books, cards and loads more obviously including garden items. Christmas selection well worth a visit and there is a restaurant for a bite to eat if you fancy!

What a fantastic garden centre. E erything you would need and more. The plants looked very healthy and the centre was well stocked. Loved the Christmas display - it really felt like a Christmas wonderland. Food at the cafe was great; unfortunately, we had no room for their delicious sundaes.

Amazing and professional service. Due to an oversight on my behalf, I contacted the customer service team and within an hour the issue was fixed. The products are fantastic and excellent value for money, but the service and attitude is out of this world. I highly recommend Hayes Garden World to anyone who wants the best of the best.

Probably the most beautiful garden centre I have ever seen. The displays are impressive even to the finest detail. The soap display is a sensory feast of music, colour and delightful scents. It is a huge circular building with access to the centre plant area from all indoor areas. The plant area has a stunning backdrop of a green hill with sheep grazing. There is something for everyone.

I traveled 120 mile round trip, best dayout always, fantastic displays, wonderful choice of garden produce, and more, Cafe is a delight with a lift for disabled people, and yes dogs are welcome, not in the restaurant but on the terrace you can treat your pet to an assortment of prepared meals.
Miss visiting here, is a treat your going miss.

Oh I just love this place, it's location alone is wonderful at anytime of the year. There is a fantastic Christmas display, trees, decorations, you name it, it is there. Perhaps a little pricey, but if you just want the magic to inspire you it's there. Plus you can have a cuppa and food in the Restaurant upstairs.

Huge garden centre, with a fantastic Christmas display. Also stock shoes, books, gifts and has a cafe and a Cotswold Outdoor shop as well.

Stopped off at the cafe here on arrival to Ambleside after a long drive. Service was super quick and staff were so friendly. Food was tasty, hot and delicious and tea was served with an extra pot of hot water to top up. Would definitely return!

Used the cafe and staff were so polite and helpful. Had a really nice gluten free roll and lemon pie. Filter coffee strong and hot. Toilets lovely and clean. Christmas display was lovely and plenty to choose from

Always some space in the car park. Pricey but good quality plants, garden equipment and furniture. A pleasant diversion as an addition to lake district activities.

You can spend a lot of time here and find everything and even more.🥰

A splendid afternoon spent here at the BBQ school - all courses paired with Lakes Brew beers - pure indulgence and some useful hints and tips learnt. Check out Events on site and ensure you book early to avoid disappointment for future classes.

Went with my daughter and grandchildren on Sunday, an annual occasion. Wonderful displays of all you need to decorate for Christmas. Bought a few new goodies and got lots of new ideas! Had lunch in the lovely restaurant. The food was very good. A lovely gentleman called Dave took our order and was so good how he interacted with the grandchildren. Quick trip round the winter wonderland and a hot chocolate finished off the visit again another lovely gentleman in the hot chocolate shack.
All in all, another lovely visit.

Best garden centre I've ever been in, huge selection plants and accessories, helpful staff and good parking. Well worth popping in to kill a bit of time if weather is really bad too.

Huge range of Christmas decoration, full colour as well. If you love Christmas then you'll be like a kid in the candy shop. I know I was like a child in this place. It's a great feeling. Come visit.

This Garden Center is my “always visit” place when I travel to the Lakes. I love their seasonal decorations for the holidays. I spend a few hours there each visit and wish I could take home more than I do (I’m from Texas) the last couple years I have taken home bulbs and love seeing them bloom in Texas come early spring.

It's like a winter wonderland, do much choice for Christmas it's absolutely beautiful.

Staff are very helpful. This place is massive and does more than just garden attire.
We have come to see Santa with the little one and it was really good! A lot of effort has gone into decorating the building.

Shops full of goodies to buy and things to see. Well worth a visit!
