Stiles Coffee Bar

We came here on a whim and we are glad we did. We had 2 milkshakes both of which were great, tasty and they didn't skimp on the toppings. The Lemon cake was very tasty, full of flavour and so soft and fluffy and easy to eat. The place is great for singles, couples and families alike. Highly recommended for cake and milkshakes.

We enjoyed our meal so much. It's my first time to travel with my partner in ambleside.And i find itlovely and so wonderful place for me. This coffee bar is perfect for hungry and tired travellers like us. Animal friendly too.

This is the third time we have been here, great food and service.

One of few places to eat in the lakes that you can pay with cash.
Great to see and good on you for not following the sheep by going cashless.

Had a wonderful weekend! Nothing to much trouble for staff they are so friendly and welcoming. The room spotless clean and so comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! We have recharged our batteries it has been so relaxing and chilled. Would recommend Stiles to anyone. We will certainly be back!

Simply awesome.
We were a group of 20 Indians on our way to Edinburgh when we stopped here for a cruise and lunch. Stiles was an amazing surprise with lovely atmosphere, awesome delicious food and everyone was super happy.
Highly recommended place.

I had BBQ in Panini bread with fries. It was delicious.

Am amazing place for breakfast. You can get 1 hour free parking so make sure to ask the staff for a parking disc which you will need to put on your dashboard. The staff were super friendly and awesome service. The food was delicious! We had (in pic order): Vegan breakfast, Veg breakfast and Stifles breakfast (Full English). For drinks we had (in pic order): white mocha, caramel latte, flat white and cappuccino. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Been a couple times now and always enjoy, nice little cafe. Food and drinks are always great with a generous vegetarian and vegan menu. Slight wait for orders to be taken and food to be brought over, but other than that really enjoyable

I can only say great things about this place. Found it on an off chance as nowhere else was accommodating for a solo traveller with a dog. There was plenty of vegan options. They were dog friendly even had dog snacks available. The food was delicious staff were welcoming I wish I was local so I could visit again because we had the most amazing experience here and would love to return some day.

Very dog friendly took my big boy here they even have a whole dog menu, we came for breakfast friendly staff and lovely food the fry up was delicious, I was so happy to see proper tea with tea leafs in the pot. My boyfriend had coffee abd the American breakfast he loved his breakfast and coffee

Absolutely spot on!♡ To be able to find a breakfast at 1p in the English countryside of the Lake District has been a bit of a challenge. Only because I'm still learning my way around this beautiful part of England. The food, service, quality and quantity, well....lemme say I'm super happy and it's a lovely & peaceful environment. Caitlin was absolutely wonderful & attentive to my needs. I found that Holly prepared my Dirty Chai. I have learned that not everyone can make one proper. It was too delish♡ Overall this restaurant is wonderful in the variety of items on the menu. Pop in, relax, & enjoy.

Great place with very friendly staff. Great atmosphere too. Had a ham, cheese and pickle sandwich on a huge breadcake which came with proper chips. My partner had jacket spud with salad all delicious. She also said her Latte was better than a Costa coffee. Great location too and dog friendly.

Good honest food, priced well and you'll leave fed.

We were recommended to come here by another eatery because they didn't serve breakfast and I'm glad we paid them a visit as it was a great quirky place, all sorts of people all sorts of si ging along to the music. Great atmosphere

Food was served quickly. Had a tuna and cheese Panini with chips. Lots of filling in the Panini. Recommend this place for a lunchtime (did have a nice range of all day breakfasts too).

Fantastic dairy free and gluten free options at this lovely coffee bar. Delightful dairy free cakes and coffees which tasted amazing. The coffee shop is located on Compston Road in Ambleside pretty close to the Main Street and all the action. A great selection of ice creams, cakes, warm and cold drinks and looked like a big selection of special milkshakes.
Everyone was accounted for with their range of all dietary requirements ticked off.
Decent sized shop, well maintained and good friendly staff. A must visit for anyone needing a bite to eat in Ambleside.
Also not to forget, it’s dog friendly so a total winner!

Brilliant family friendly cafe with a nice range of drinks — all the usual coffees plus more exotic things. (Try the Dirty Chai — chai + coffee — it’s excellent!) Also a huge range of milkshakes to keep the kids happy!

Really enjoyable breakfast. Proper tea leaves. Very eclectic seating. We will definitely be back.

I came here for breakfast one morning, I had the beans on toast and it was delicious!
The service was fast and friendly with both food and coffee being excellent. Very well recommended, you should head here when you’re in Ambleside for a well priced, excellent breakfast. (Also the crumpets were pretty damn good too!)

Very pleasennt place in Ambleside. Lovely and very friendly staff. Quick service with the smile. I can only recommend this fantastic bar.
