Lidl

Only come here for particular items and they are of a much better quality / price than other large supermarkets. Every time we do our 'Lidl' shop we always find another product that impresses us. This time - ribs in Hoi Sin sauce! Will definitely be getting these again .

Lidl is my go to store. There was an incident not too long ago where some baskets fell on top of my daughter, other customers rushed over to move the baskets and in no time a manager was there. The manager was talking with my daughter and made sure that she was ok. My daughter was offered a treat and was made to feel at ease. We were asked if we wanted to fill out an incident report, I said yes. While we were doing so, the staff and the manager were so lovely to my children continuously checking on my daughter! When I look at reviews I prefer to see incidences happen to find out how the company resolves them, I can also say, yes, Lidl is a great store and has amazing prices. But I wanted to share the matter with this review to show people that if anything were to happen, the store would have it covered! Thank you hornchurch Lidl! Especially management!

Immaculately clean Lidl. By far the nicest store I've been in. Well stocked and super organised shelves. Pleasure to shop there 😊

Hornchurch Lidl staff are always helpful & Friendly. If you ask anyone a question they do their very best to assist you. They never tell you that's not my department or area of the store like other shops. In addition the plants they have on sale are fantastic & extremely reasonably priced.

Nice affordable supermarket in a busy area with always available parking space.

Excellent place to find obscure brands of "artisan" gin not often seen in other supermarkets.

Highly amusing "Middle of Lidl" aisles piled high with all kinds of random end-of-line joblots and leftovers that you wouldn't normally find in a supermarket - this weekend's specials at the Hornchurch Lidl include hedge trimmers, lawn strimmers, inflatable mattresses, pull-along suitcases, and swimming kit. Apparently they've even had socket sets and angle grinders in there one week. Think of it as supermarket lucky dip because, "once it's gone, it's gone".

Nice shop, huge variety. Great selection of kids toys and sweets. Plenty of parking and great selection in the bakery. Only downside, security follows us every isle - we can’t even eat our chewing gum.

Lidl is my favourite store to visit, I always get quality products at a very low cost

Went into the store quite late, it was fully stocked other than bakery understandably, the store was clean, staff polite and served with a smile. I'm not from Hornchurch, so wouldn't go on a regular basis but will definitely revisit if in the area again. Store has toilet facilities and a good amount of parking spaces.

Lidl in Hornchurch is a bigger supermarket and has literally everything and more than you need.
Prices are reasonable considering the price of other supermarkets. They have a lovely bakery, and their baked products are always fresh and tasty. There is plenty of car parking if you avoid peak times.

Lidl is still a great place to shop and represents good value, great prices for everyday items, and has become our go to food shop
They are really challenging the big 4 supermarkets in the UK, which is great news for the end consumer, and long may it continue, all the moreso in these inflationary times!
Make sure you have and use the Lidl app on your phone as this offers even more discounts.
We now use Lidl for most of our weekly shop, and as a result our shopping bill is easily 20% less, some items are -50% when compared to Tesco (our previous store of choice) and the other major players.
Just a little disappointed with the recent changes made to the app discount scheme, as this has reduced the overall benefits!!

Absolutely brilliant especially their freshly baked crispy rolls, very clean in there and easy to find things, first class much better than Aldi

Sited on the highest Reeth free parking but becsurextonreadctgextermszand conditions of the parking,onevthingbi love about this particular Lidl is they now have self service tills both cash and cards,indoor bakery all cooked fresh on site the pastries and the bread is superb great selection of own brands of food at a much reasonable prices than branded ones,weekly offers of various products I like this lidl

Always well stocked and amazing prices

Luv the place 😊 but soooo annoying getting parking tickets for 10-15mins over etc I know it’s easily remedied but it all takes time and quite worrying to get these parking notices ( think this’ll be my third) the store is so full of interesting stuff you could spend an hour in “the middle of Lidl”!!
There surely must be a way round having all the time you need as a customer ! 🤷‍♀

Always good for a deal, great value groceries and rarely packed when I go.

Update 04/09/22; getting busier lately, especially on a Sunday, spent 15 minutes circling for parking.
Otherwise, still the same Lidl, good food, good tools, great deals.

Don't turn right into the car park. It would seem Havering council have added a revenue camera on that junction.

You need to access the car park by turning left... Beware.

Nice store, great layout, especially like the fresh bread and cakes section.
