Always nice and friendly staff

What can you say? It's a Sainsbury's. Generally well stocked, good for getting those few essentials.

Always a Pleasure to shop at our local Sainsburys.... Staff are Very helpful and the selection is really good!!!!!

I shopped in the store recently and asked the only available staff on the shop floor about the smart shop app as I wasn’t sure if it could be used in this store. The staff member who I believe is called Beth, explained that it could be used and advised me to connect to the stores wifi as my 4g wouldn’t work at the back of the store, I also asked how to check out and she kindly explained how to check out the front of the store. I was able to use the app successfully and would highly recommend using it as you can pack your shopping as you go. Great customer service thank you Beth for being so helpful!

Good selection of groceries considering that's a small shop in the middle town.

good meal deal section, the sausage rolls are exquisite if you put them in a 700w microwave for 1min. Southern fried chicken wrap, best one I've found, the wrap isn't dry and is amazing. follow those up with a chocolate milkshake and your lunch is sorted. nearly as good as a bowl of Weetabix

The best goat milk that i have ever drink

Only ever do a small shop here but always has the things I need and often has everyday essentials that are out of stock in the big superstores. Also smaller, less busy and quicker to get round. If prices are higher I haven't noticed so it's not like a Sainsburys local.

Best Pub in Crawley Area.

Great place to do grocery in Guildford. Good stock. However, there is no smart shop here in Guildford so I miss my special offers if I come here. If you wanted much better stock and variety, visit Godalming or Burpham Sainsbury.

Not all heroes wear capes.

I live in the local area and use this Sainsbury’s as my main source of supplies, and have done so for almost a year now. That said, yesterday at around 7:30pm I saw an act of heroism I just had to write about!

While browsing the coffee section towards the back of the store, mask on and hoping to obtain a decaf treat, I suddenly heard a commotion behind me. The automatic doors to the car park were open and I heard shouting and heavy fast footsteps up the stairs. A few moments later I saw one of the shop assistants, flushed in face looking like he’d been in a scuffle, triumphantly clutching a bottle of vodka in his hand!

Upon enquiring if he “caught the guy”, he said that he chased the drunken perpetrator up the stairs, managed to wrestle the vodka out of his hands. The fiend ran away but he was just happy to get the bottle back and was going to put it where it belongs.

I hope someone high up the Sainsbury’s hierarchy hears this, even his fellow employees at the Guildford High Street branch, and know that you have a true hero working among you. And if you see him, give him a pat on the back and a jolly good well done because he deserves it. I sadly didn’t catch his name, but he had, I believe, an Eastern European accent.

Nice large and I got everything I need rating locally well stocked tidy and clean

Went in to buy few things and out again very quickly as shop was quite and easy to go round store
