Great for Sunday trip with family and friends. Huge grounds for walking. Dogs can walk freely without lead outside of house area. Free parking. Coffee shop and book shop near house. Definitely coming back!

Fab views and walks for you and your dog 🐕. There is a cafe but I didn't use it, it's situated in a courtyard with very pleasant surroundings. Dogs are not allowed in the house but I purely went their for the walk. As always I find the National Trust staff so friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit.

If you are a National trust member it's free to park and enter, otherwise it's £11 to go into the grounds. The house isn't open year around so check before traveling, but the walk is nice and peaceful.

The cafe on site is really good, and recommended the spicy cauliflower pasty!

There's lots to do here for a great short family day out. The gardens are beautiful if not huge and amazing in spring.

It's not really my taste of house as it felt quite dark and claustrophobic with a lot of stuff in every room. It's great if you like pianos as there's lots throughout the house with an information booklet on them.

There's 2 cafés, 1 more for cups of tea and cake and 1 more for lunch items.

The park is large with some lovely waymarked walking routes going around it.

One of the most beautiful places in Surrey for walks, picnics and general exploring. Loads of beautiful sights, greenery, trees, hills, plants and views, etc. A must visit if one has not been here before. Would come back.

Lovely house and gardens... Very rural. There's a good play area as well. Lots for children. The house has done very interesting instruments such as pianos as harpsichords... Not allowed to photograph those though!

It's a privately let residence, so no pictures inside the house, which is disappointing. The house is gorgeous and well maintained. It's not the biggest National Trust House, so you could see the whole downstairs area really quickly, but we always enjoy admiring the artwork and musical pieces. The volunteers are kind and friendly. On this occasion, one of them was playing the organ. It really was amazing. There is a cafe on site. The gardens are gorgeous and have lots of wild areas for beautiful walks. There is an adorable pond. The

A brilliant place to visit for the day, with lots to do for everybody. I was surprised at how much there was for children to do. Reasonably priced entry for the amount included. One of the best NT places in the area.

Great National trust place to come to enjoy long walks with different trails.

Extra joy for kids with built playground area in the woods.

Grazing stock in the fields, so make sure to keep your dogs on the lid at all times.

Little cafe there with some cakes, choice of light snacks and drinks.

Unfortunately, the house, which was built in 1756, was closed as carently undergoing some repairing. So, it will be another trip for us to discover another piece of history.

Definitely recommend it!

This place never disappoints. Highlights are seeing Callum and Morris in their stable or grazing in the field. Great grounds to go for walks. An impeccably impressive collection of pianos. If you're visiting or plan to visit throughout December 2023, DO - they've got a magical trail and Narnia surprise that you don't want to miss!

Great Winter Trail. Theme was The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. My kids loved it!

A beautiful and unique Christmas experience, so lovely to visit Narnia through the wardrobe at Hatchlands park, great effort by the trust to make use of the remarkable facilities

Both the main and overflow car parks are easy to access and park in, and there's an abundance of walks and things to do aside from the house if you have young kids. A very easy trip out.

Lovely place to stop for a country walk and a coffee after. House is closed but we are out of season and this is clearly communicated on the NT website and App. This is the benefit of having membership as you have access to free parking and can use the facilities that are open and pop back and visit the house when it is open.

Many precious pianos and painting in the house. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, always ready to provide detailed information about the house. Parking is not a problem even in weekends. It’s free, if you are a national trust member.
