Co-op Food - Ambleside

Good range, and compliments other stores in town. Friendly, helpful staff. A useful pickup location. Shopping at the co-op also supports local good causes if you choose to get a co-op loyalty card.

Staff were polite and helpful. Came to pick up some Amazon delivery and bagged a few reduced item that were great in price.

Love being at the receiving end of great customer service...and tonight, I received the very best! I went in looking for last minute mince pies, and the young man advised me they had run out. He showed me to the festive counter, and advised I may find more in the end isle.
Whilst I was looking in the end isle, he showed up...and said he was just checking that I had found the right place!! Wow! Who does that anymore??!
I was then at checkout and fell short of 50p - which he waived and said he would make it up...
I'm a huge believer in acts of kindness, and this was not only amazing, but extremely heart-warming on Christmas eve...
It turns out this very impressive chap was the manager - I'm thrilled; I hope his amazing work ethics rub off on all the staff! Thank you for a very memorable shop : ) I hope everyone bumps into him for the same wonderful experience!

So much better now that it's been renovated and upgraded with more space in each isle and bigger selection than previously. Perfect little local for all your basic essential needs with a few extras

Cavernous store with a nearly full selection of products / range. Three self service for when it's busy. So glad the Coop are in Ambleside.

In the heart of the community and well stocked for its compact size, good layouts and easy to use, helpful staff on hand.
