Post office counter inside too, very helpful lady working there

Lovely staff very friendly and helpful

I took a FREEPOST parcel in, they would not give me a (free) proof of posting slip, and said they were doing me a favour by taking a FREEPOST parcel, the other option was to get Royal Mail to collect.

As per other comments the guy running this post office has an attitude problem. He needs to step away as he is killing custom. The lady working here on the other hand is the opposite and runs the post office well.

Took a parcel to be posted at 9 30 on a Saturday morning. Was met with a grumpy and dismissive comment that the post office doesn't open until 10. Pointed out that the notice he was standing right next to said they opened at 9 (says 8 online on Royal Mail website), he gave me a shrug and walked off. Similar situation happened to my wife previously a few months back but wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. They've lost our custom now. Shame such a local community shop has such poor customer service.

I went to post a letter this morning and though the shop was open the post office wasn't open for another 10 mins. So I decided to look around whilst I waited. I was shocked when the owner asked me to wait outside in the cold. He said he didn't like people walking around in the shop. I couldn't believe it. It's probably the last time I go there for anything.
