Cafe Ness by the Cathedral

Nice cosy cafe round the back of the cathedral. Popped in for a lovely bowl of soup on a cold day. Advertise some business along the chalk board inside and offer ‘suspended coffee’ service. Good selection of cakes too which I will have to go back and sample!

Super cafe next to the cathedral. Full of character, lovely staff and great coffee. We also had a fab rocky road and cheese scone. Warm, lots of tables and interesting stuff to look at.

Lovely cafe pay for another coffee and local less well off can drop in and get theirs free. Has a sense of calm next to Cathedral and very good coffee/tea plus cakes to die for. Not overpriced either.

Nice cosy light meal eatery conveniently situated on the river bank near the cathedral and on the famous Ness Islands walk. Had tea and cake here on a pleasant summers day.

A really cute small cafe run by volunteers that also sells locally made crafts and has info about local businesses. The prices are good (my friend got a full-sized sandwich for £4) and it tasted great! The staff are very kind as well. Highly recommend!

Went here mid February this year. What a gem of a place. Lovely friendly staff great atmosphere and ambiance. Local crafts and goodies for sale. Oh and great food and drinks 👍. Highly recommend 👌.

Really good coffee, delicious cakes and a good choice of food - can't find anything to criticise. Really keen and friendly staff who are very thorough in their Covid compliance procedures. There's a nice selection of gift items to buy too, and I really liked being able to donate a coffee for anyone not able to buy for themselves. Try this place if your near to Cathedral - you won't regret it 👍

We needed to find a cafe that was open early as our sleeper train from London arrived early. We found this cafe tucked away next to the cathedral. They had a great selection of food and drinks. We had a fruit scone and a twix donut which were both delicious.

Hidden gem behind Inverness Cathedral, cosy atmosphere with pews for seats. Staff are friendly and make lovely soup, I had yellow split pea which was really tasty. They also do a full vegan cooked breakfast which I'll be back to sample.

This small café offers an interesting experience and a special atmosphere. The service was super nice and helpful, the food was okay. The hot drinks were great.
