Charlie's Cafe

If I had read on previous reviews that this place was near the bus station, it may have been easier to find,as most people know where to find the local bus station.
Once there, there was a good choice of breakfast items and reasonably priced.It came out hot and fresh testing .

Very good, right next to the bus station, can get busy for breakfast as they're well known for their breakfasts which are rather filling. Service is wonderful, has a family owned feeling and its a little bit traditional.
Great for proper lunches too.

I went here after walking the Great Glen Way. It is straight forward, honest cafe next to the bus station. Big portions of hot food and drink. Loads of fruit too. Rapid service and very reasonable prices. A steady stream of interesting customers. A brilliant place to refuell and kill time. Highly recommended over every other cafe in Inverness.

A real gem if you are looking for an old-fashioned diner. The recent change of ownership doesn’t seem to have affected the offering or the atmosphere. The ladies looking after the counter and the food are magnificent, the true stars of the show. The food is excellent for a diner and the service is perfect.

Great place to wait for the bus, much better option than the bus station cafe which is only open very limited hours. Keep up the good work Charlie we appreciate you so much.

Fantastic place.

The interior is ordinary, as long as we do not look to the motorcycles in the upper part.

It seems, all staff with big life experience are the pearl and the soul of this cafe and this city.

I ordered macaroni cheese, omelette with cheese and onion, bread and butter pudding, coffee latte.

Everything was very tasty and served in the Scottish manner. Coffee taste just medium.

When i finished ate, they asked me how much i liked it.

A toilet is available in the cafe, so that every visitor can use it.

Definitely this place deserves your attention.

Tastey hot food .. Best chips had in ages ...Great selection to choose from also very reasonably priced great staff too had build a breakfast all was fantastic

Cafe with a long history of Inverness, great service and convenient location just next to the bus station

This is a proper Café with great food. Pop in for a cup of tea or an all day breakfast. The macaroni cheese is good too. We had hot chocolate, bovril, coffee and tea to drink amd a nice toastie, roll with lorne sausage and full breakfast. Dog friendly and good value.

Fantastic place to grab a quick bite at bus station, majority of the food is cooked to order (breakfast items cooked on mass in morning). But service was great and food very tasty.

Food was excellent service was fantastic quite a lively cafe i would recommend this place. Just such an honest place.

Great little cafe been coming here since I moved to Inverness. Brilliant for cooked breakfasts, home made macaroni, soups and other comfort foods. Good prices, spotlessly clean.

Excellent chips and macaroni haven't been in since before the refurb was waiting for coach so stopped to refuel. Chips are better than I remember and they were good back in the day will be back again for sure. Right next to bus coach station very convenient and great food and staff.

I have been coming here now and again for many years and remember the old place and Charlie himself. So for me it always feels special to pop in for a coffee and a Bacon roll.

We were passing through Inverness and were lucky enough to find this cafe/restaurant next to the bus station.

And this place brought me so much good energy, that I took the time to leave a positive review.

From the moment we arrived we were well received. Treated with respect and attention and I value this very much!

We ordered two veggie burgers with chips and they were great.

They have a wide variety on the menu and very affordable take away options.

Apart from that, I loved the decor of the place, it's nostalgic.

I highly recommend it!

We had have breakfast in Charlie's Cafe. The place was so pleasing and welcoming. We ate pasta bread and coffee it was very nice.

Great breakfast, great staff. I left my coffee at the counter, went back 10 minutes later and the guy took it off me and poured me a fresh one without being prompted. It's the small things that make businesses stand out.
