Lovely little B&B in the heart of Ambleside. Owners are very helpful and friendly plus there was ginger cake. Seriously, this ginger cake was worth the cost of staying here alone! Good breakfast, clean and comfy rooms. Will definitely be back.

Great stay at the Rysdale B&B. The room was clean and cozy and the breakfast was great. Many thanks to the owner, his wife and their dog. We had some great days! The b&b is two minutes on foot from the center of Ambleside and its Pubs.

John and Diane are real pros. They do everything possible to make the accommodations comfortable and attractive. And every day there is a special homemade cake for your afternoon tea. Perfect location to walk to everything and is right across from the park and church, so easily found.

Stayed here for the full weekend and was very impressed with everything! Gorgeous little room with an en suite and everything I needed. The host was very friendly and made a stunning vegetarian breakfast! Will be back

2 night trip to Ambleside, Stayed in a suite which was really classy , comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was also v good and perfect for a day on the fells , very helpful and pleasant manager aka Allan , all good highly recommend.
