What a lovely place to stay , Diamond lodge is brilliant, in a perfect location close to the town centre and numerous walks you can do. Staff lovely and so helpful, room we stayed in was perfect, clean and modern, breakfast what I can say , one the best myself and my wife have had, freshly cooked to what you order the day before.
Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Diamond Lodge Guesthouse for 2 nights, it’s in a great location to either the lake which is a short walk or into Ambleside. We had a telephone call earlier in the day to say our room was ready. Lots of free parking on site. Isabelle welcomed us.
The room was nice and a spacious, clean and tidy.
Breakfast was amazing, gluten free options available. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse, we will return.

Amazing guest house. Very modern rooms and the location is great for Ambleside. Hayley is the on site host and is there to attend to all your needs. Breakfast was fantastic too. We definitely chose the right place to stay and will book again next time we are in the Lakes.

Ample parking & good location, well decorated & looks special one of the most comfiest beds I've ever slept in. They rang me day before to say I could check in early. All in all Excellent would go again. A very good breakfast that didn't repeat like most, all from local produce I believe

A perfect valentine's getaway! The rooms were finished to a high standard, staff were very polite and was in an ideal location for ambleside and the waterfront. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful! A selection of cereals, a pre ordered breakfast and finished off with honey and toast. If you select the earliest breakfast slot you can bag the seat by the window! A very comfortable mattress, made use of the robe and slippers and had a glass of wine overlooking the near by fells.

If you are thinking about booking go right ahead you will not regret it.

Had an excellent stay in room 4. Facilities and service very good. Breakfast wonderful. The location is good for the centre and the lakeside and the on site car park is a great asset

Fantastic hotel with staff that are so nice and helpful. Our room is lovely and breakfast this morning was beyond perfect. The view from our room is to die for yet its only a very short stroll into Ambleside where there are loads of place to eat and drink and some really lovely shops

stayed previously a few times in recent years and the same high standard of service, cleanliness and value for money has been consistently maintained.Excellent choice for breakfast which is superbly cooked and presented by very attentive staff. We will definately be returning.

Really nice short stay. Room was large, clean and really comfy. Super large shower room and very tasty full English in the morning. Owners really nice and welcoming. Definitely go again.

This is a really nice place to stay and very convenient, being only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ambleside which has plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. It has a good sized car park right outside. The hotel is clean and beautifully furnished and the staff are polite and very friendly. We had a strong, free WiFi signal in in our room. Breakfast was included with our stay and this was freshly cooked and delicious. We had to fill in a slip to order any cooked items the evening before but there was also fruit salad, toast and cereals. We loved it here and we'll be back! I can thoroughly recommend this guest house.

Came for a few days stay. Lovely place,, room was beautiful,, breakfast was awesome,, staff very friendly,, Lillian was very bubbly and pleasent. Five minutes walk to town centre of Ambleside,, stayed in the lakes numerous times,, this has to be the best yet.

What a fantastic Guest house. The staff and rooms were amazing, The breakfast was perfect with plenty of choice, I had asked for a veggie sausage with a hashbrown and beans and if possible a booked egg on the side, I was so surprised when it came out like it did. Just perfect. The view from our room was really lovely, even catching a rainbow on the morning we left. We are already looking at returning next year and would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Ambleside.

Diamond lodge is the place to stay in Ambleside.
We found this gem of a place 8 years ago and we have been coming back twice a year ever since.
Rooms are spacious, with quality furniture and furnishings.
Breakfast is fantastic whether you want full English, vegetarian or continental. Nothing is too much trouble for George, Jess and team.
Looking forward to our next trip to Diamond Lodge.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The room was lovely and the staff were always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious. I had salmon, which was very fresh and poached eggs cooked to perfection. I would definitely stay here again.
