Hayes Garden Centre

Always visit this garden centre when I'm in the lakes, possibly my favorite centres in the country.Fantastic restaurant plus everything a gardener might need,my one tip is,if you visit this place it's wise to get in early, because it's always so busy.

Great place for everything to do with gardens from seeds and plants to landscaping material and BBQ sets, even books & toys and fish. There's a great cafe and mini cafe outside. Plenty of free parking available. Well worth a visit, especially around Christmas when it becomes a winter wonderland!

Great selection, nice cafe, and easy to find

It's basically a gift/tat shop with a plant center attached. The café is frankly a joke. I had a pork and chorizo stew that was cold, tough and without chorizo. My companion had cod in a white sauce and the cod still had its skin on and was described as disgusting.

No signage in outdoor plant area, didn't know were anything was.
