Our home from home. We love this place. Our hosts. Sandra and Steve always make us feel so welcome. Nothing is to much trouble. Spotless comfortable rooms. Breakfasts first class. And lots more tasty treats all home made. Wonderful

Stopped here for lunch in a large group. Couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating, and the food and drink was fantastic with generous portions. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Stopped off for breakfast on the journey to the lakes. Even though it was a bank holiday weekend. The service and food was as great as ever. Would strongly recommend.

Excellent toasted sandwich with a crispy side salad. Plus delicious light scones in a cream tea. Yum!

The best Yorkshire ploughmans . Lovely presentation and so delicious. worth every penny. Going for a cream tea before we go home saturday.

Steve and Sandra were the perfect hosts. They made my wife and I very welcome and the accommodation and tea rooms were of a very high standard.

What an unfriendly welcome. We planned to have a bike ride and stop here afterwards for a coffee and a cake. Walked in and explained our plan to see if we could use the loo, no smile, just an awkward nod. I tried to make small talk with the guy behind the bar and I also pulled his teeth out, or so it seemed. We ended up getting a couple of expressos and also asked for a single shot one topped up to dbl (water) quantities. This was far too hard for the 'barista' to comprehend. Needless to say I chose not to say anything. Thankfully we fulfilled our promise to be patrons so we could change our plans after the ride. Terrible welcome, coffee was pretty good. Never go here. Ever.
