Bishopdale Bunkhouse

We rang yesterday to book a table for lunch for 8 people and had no problem getting one. We arrived and were welcomed by friendly staff and shown to our tables in an area with 3 tables to social distance. The food and service were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. The staff were all wearing masks and there were sanitising stations around the pub. It was actually our first trip to a pub/restaurant since March and we felt very safe in here. Thanks again for your great service and we look forward to calling again in the future 😀 👍

Great pub. Food was good honest pub fayre. Nothing fancy but portions were huge and I couldn't eat a pudding after starter and main. All the staff were very friendly and kid friendly. The kids were stuffed = happy. I would absolutely recommend this pub to people who just want decent grub. Right next to the street head caravan/campsite so perfect for a family meal.

Stayed at the adjoining campsite for a week. Cannot recommend the pub enough. Ate there almost every night. Food delicious interesting menu and welcoming staff. Their mid week specials which included a beer or wine were really good value for money. Cannot wait to go back in summer to en joy a drink al fresco.

We stopped on a drive through the Dales and the staff were very welcoming. The beer is great, lots of local beers. Then we had lunch...it was the best steak & ale pie I've ever had & the cheesecake for dessert was to die for. If anyone is up this way it is a great place to stop & the views are wonderful too.

Stayed here on a whim on way back from glamping .
Was greeted by a very happy and friendly chef immediately in car park upon arrival..who made me laugh ! 🤣
He just said.." yes.... follow me !"
The room was really lovely with everything people could possibly need....with an absolutely stunning view.
Although I'd said earlier I wasn't going to eat any more food for a fortnight...the menu soon changed my mind on that.
The food and service was excellent and as soon as I saw Eton Mess on the vast dessert menu ..well that was it !!
A very nice relaxing place and very good food and service indeed....!
It was definitely a good spontaneous decision to stay there for sure ...thankyou guys !!

Lovely real pub, roaring log fire, friendly staff and great food, we had a very nice meal after driving for ten hours from Cornwall. We also had the Carvery on the Sunday which was huge and very nice.

Me, my husband and my son had two nights at the streethead Inn and we absolutely loved every minute. The food was outstanding , the room was lovely and had all the facilities you could need and the view is beautiful.. The staff were all helpful and very pleasant and Nigel the owner is such a lovely, warm and welcoming gent. We hope to visit again in the future and would highly recommend anyone that is looking for a place to stay, choose the Street Head Inn, you won't be disappointed

Very nice pub, with delicious food and reasonably priced drinks. All main meals come with a choice of veggies or salad, and chips or potatos, making the food portions huge! You definitely won't walk away hungry!! I had the veggie stroganoff and I would definitely reccomend it. The pub unfortunately doesnt open untill 6pm which is a bit annoying, but its well worth the wait

The Sunday carvery is absolutely superb and very good value 💰 staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Make sure to book a table as it is very popular with both locals and people from the caravan park. 🐏🐑

Great site situated in the dales first visited here over 40 years ago in the last hot summer. Short walk to Thoralby or a 3 mile walk to West Burton stunning place plus the fantastic Streethead inn for exceptional food and fine ales. Won't be leaving it 40 years before I visit again highly recommend

The best Sunday lunch ever! Pork, beef, lamb, Turkey and all the trimmings . . Take your pick, as much as you can eat. Fantastic as always!

Had a great 2 days there food brill chef Baz is so friendly breakfast excellent. All staff lovely and Nigel well couldn't have bern more helpful.
Will be back soon hopefully. 👍

Super pub with great beers and food, the chef, Base, will cook you the most amazing fish chowder, if you give give him a him a few days notic, this meal meal is not to be missed

Brilliant food and brilliant service. I would recommend this pub to people near. The landlord if friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing.

We stayed here 2 nights and wish we'd stayed longer. Great location, great food, lovely staff and exceptional landlord. Can't wait to go back.

Quality food at good prices. Nice pint of beer and good wine. Fish and chips, and the Steak and Ale Pie are highly recommended!

Very welcoming with a lovely roaring fire food and staff excellent.Generous portions so choose carefully I didn't need the starter.

Traditional pub in really rural setting. Always lively and friendly with plenty of space to sit and drink or eat with pool table and dart board.
