Aysgarth Falls Hotel & Restaurant

My parents just stayed for 2 nights as a birthday treat. The loved it. Room was fabulous, clean, and quiet. All the staff were friendly and professional, and the food was fabulous. Thank you to all the staff for making their stay so great.

Staff are wonderful, very attentive, can't do enough for you. The rooms are cosy with everything you might need. Loved the food at the restaurant, everything we ordered was of a very high standard. The hotel is located very well for the falls, bolton castle and
walks to other joining villages. We stayed on a dinner bed and breakfast offer and we found it very good value for money. Would fully recommend and will likely return again

We have stayed at the hotel before and had a fantastic time. So we chose to take some friends for Sunday lunch. I wasn't disappointed. The main restaurant is decorated to a high standard with beautiful paintings and wall coverings. The food was of a very high standard and at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and attentive. All in all, a great place to stay or just have a meal. Definitely going back.

We went for dinner with our very tired slightly mardy 3 year old.
The lady who served us ( I'm guessing the owner/manager) could of been more friendly and welcoming. We really appreciated her going above and beyond to ask chef to make some pasta for our child that want on the menu.
The food, we had beef bourginion( I can't spell it) pie, was delicious.
The service was great.
Good drink selection.
I'd definitely recommend trying here.

Whilst we have visited the falls on many occasions, we have never stayed in Aysgarth.

We couldn't have chosen a better spot, particularly for our onward journey, from North Yorkshire to the Lakes

We were warmly greeted and escorted to our accommodation. This was outside and adjacent to the hotel, with its own patio area and views across this spectacular valley. Unfortunately a little foggy for our stay.

The room was very private with double doors opening onto a patio. Which would be great on a summer's morning.
The bed was comfortable and bathroom was very nice with a large shower.

We opted to eat in the bar area and the food and drink were very reasonable. Breakfast was had in the onsite Palmers restaurant which also has spectacular views of the Yorkshire landscape.

Service was very good and came with a smile and warm chat.

Overall a good experience and would return without question if staying in this area again.

Lovely Hotel, with friendly staff and a great little camping area at the rear. Well placed for a number of great walks, and close to the Aysgarh falls.

Room was not that big but interior design and aesthetic styling was really good. We were lucky we still got the last room which was priced right. To top it all, the breakfast and service of all the staff (especially the lady at the restaurant) were excellent! Will definitely stay here again in any case id be in the area again.

Fantastic place with excellent staff, good beers, super views over the hills (providing the weather is good), really, really fantastic food. Rooms were of a high standard and the decor of the dining area and bars were nicely done. Car park did look a bit overcrowded at times but obviously that indicated how good the place is. The actual Falls, within walking distance, were impressive.

Friendly and cosy. A great place to stop and have a delicious sandwich and pint after a bracing walk. We didn’t try the rooms, but 5 stars all round 😀

Had a great stay at the Aysgarth Falls Hotel. We enquired if there was a room available for that night and got the last available one which was on the top floor, nicely refurnished and had a beautiful view. Staff were very friendly, food (both dinner and breakfast) was excellent, hotel has been renovated tastefully and the location is great. From our holiday we felt this was the best value hotel we stayed in for the price charged and quality of service delivered. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing, so warm & welcoming when you step in the door, the manager is so lovely attentive & engages in conversation with you, we have been here twice now on holiday from Glasgow and cant wait to go back I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the sausage & mash in a superb onion gravy best sausages I have ever had, DELICIOUS

We spent a few nights at the Aysgarth Falls Hotel. The renovated rooms are modern and are cleaned daily. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to help quickly with questions and concerns. Unfortunately, the Palmers Restaurant (great menu!) is not open every day and the opening days were changed spontaneously during our stay. However, on these days you can choose from the pub menu, which is also very good. All in all: thank you very much for the nice days!

Lovely food. But expected that anyway as have been before.. excellent loçation for walkers, cyclists or tourists driving

Beautiful pub and restaurant, good choice of beers and lagers. Food excellent. Roaring log fire. A must visit after the steep hill walk from the incredible Aysgarth falls

Stopped off here for Sunday lunch and although the food was delicious with good portion sizes, it was a little pricey.
Having said that, it is dog friendly and they serve a good range of local beers.
So apart from the prices which did smart a little, I'd highly recommend.

This is an amazing small hotel.
Warm, friendly & attentive staff who work tirelessly & seamlessly to make your stay really lovely - even carried our bags to our rooms, very welcome after a 15 mile hike!
The rooms are beautifully appointed & beds are really comfortable. To top this off the food was stunning.
This is somewhere I would love to come back to & would highly recommend to others.

Lovely hotel, rooms are very good, food and service all very good and only a few mins walk from the falls
