The Crafty Giraffe Food Shack

Me and my husband travelled to Ambleside and I'm so glad we found this little gem! The sliders were amazing, we had to go back for seconds the next day! The sausage rolls were just as delicious and my husband ended up devouring 4! It's a must go if you're ever in the area!

Had the pigging awesome sliders (that lived up to their name) and then their cakes/traybakes that are perfect for taking up the hills!

The breakfast rolls and the pulled pork sandwich along with stuffing and gravy are tremendous and great value for money. Homemade tray bakes are superb and the soft serve ice cream is the best in Ambleside. 🙂🙂

Walked into Ambleside,came across this amazing small cafe,ordered 2 teas and 2 breakfast baps ,egg,bacon,Cumberland sausage.When they arrived "Massive",hot cooked for you,good quality local produce.Price unbelievable,£9.00 for everything.So very tasty,yummy.
Staff really helpful,even giving us 20p coin we needed!!

Stopped at the crafty giraffe food shack last night and we glad we did! I opted for the katsu curry fries and my wife the prawn tacos! Easily the best food we have had in a long time! Definitely recommend!

Really friendly staff, delicious food and very reasonably priced! All of the food is freshly made while you wait. There’s something for everyone with vegetarian and vegan options! Would definitely recommend.

We live locally and have visited the Crafty Giraffe on numerous occasions, their sandwiches are amazing all homemade even the mayonnaise and if you have an ice cream the homemade sources are yummy, highly recommended.

What a find. Seriously the best sausage rolls ever and sandwiches filled to the brim, all at a great price, delicious food, a perfect place to get your 'pack up' for fell walking or a day at the lake.

Living locally we have had sandwiches here on numerous occasions they are homemade and are amazing, our dog nala loves an ice cream from here too, would definitely recommend

Lovely little hole in the wall with great food! Mexican beef brisket tacos and chilli dirty fries were delicious! Great little place!

When the town is full of tourists and every restaurant is full, we came across this place. The food is affordable and just amazing.
