I always knew it would be the right decision to work with this family business, who had already done a wonderful job for my mother. The guys who installed my new boiler did a great job. This not only includes smart, better solutions to smaller (and larger) challenges along the way, but also taking great care and pride in what they were doing. It was a genuine pleasure having them around for the last couple of days. The memorable phrase on several occasions was 'I have a solution', with clever electrical wizadry and elegant approaches to solving pipework issues without upheaval. And, best of all, I finally have a warm house! Thanks guys; it was a pleasure

Excellent service. Returned from a trip away at 6.30 on Wednesday morning to find that the boiler had developed a fault and we had no heat or hot water. Called S A Hancock at 9 and an engineer was with us before midday. Diagnosed fault and was able to get the hot water running. Would have had everything done the same day but had to wait 24 hours for a part. Fully working by 13.30 on Thursday. Could not possibly have asked for more.

SA Hancock refurbished our shower. They were happy to order and fit the tray, mixer and door products we had chosen. The engineers carried out the work without fuss and the they integrated well with the tiler and plasterer. They also quoted a fair and competitive price for the work. The results are fantastic. I would recommend them.

On his initial visit to assess the extent of the leakage problem , Andy quickly advised that the solid floor in our breakfast room would need to be excavated to expose all the pipes running beneath the floor.
A quote was received very quickly to carry out this work and replace all of the pipes with modern plastic piping. A quote was agreed and a date set for the work to be undertaken.
The work was carried out by Andy and a colleague in the time agreed, with the minimum of fuss, and the site left clean and tidy.
We were very impressed with their professionalism and would certainly use the company again should the need arise.

I’ve used SA Hancock since we moved in 4 years ago. Always great service. A few weeks ago our oil boiler developed a leak. A quick call got an engineer out first thing the next day. Problem diagnosed, needed a new boiler. Within 2 weeks we had an inspection, quote and the new boiler fully installed. The guys were great, very professional, polite and they knew what they were doing. Arrived on time. I was impressive by the thoroughness of the overall commissioning and advice. The office were very professional and responsive. All in all a great service all round.

First time using SA Hancock. I needed an urgent boiler service and gas safety check and they got an engineer out to us that day. The are now helping with a shower leak. Communication has been brilliant and engineers have been polite and friendly.

SA Hancock Ltd originally came into my life 18 months ago when they responded to a facebook post of mine saying how I had been ripped off by one of these pay monthly plumbing and heating engineer services and they wouldn't come out and do my boiler service although I had spent over £7k with them in subscription's over the years and not had one call out. They even gave me that figure. Hancocks offered me a free boiler service. When they came they said the boiler was very old, which it was and would probably only last another year at the most. I wasn't surprised it was 20 years old. So when it finally gave up the ghost this year 18 months later I called them out again. They were super efficient, came out on the day I called, assessed the situation, sent a surveyor out to price the work and I had a quote the next morning. They even offered me heaters to keep me warm while they sorted things out! I got my quote told them to go ahead, This was on the Friday, gave the go ahead on the Sunday and by the Wednesday morning all the work had been completed. The two young gentlemen were clean and tidy, respectful and easy to have around. They even cleaned up everywhere before they went to lunch in case I needed access to any of the areas they were working in. The electrician was great, equally clean, tidy and efficient and in all I couldn't have asked for a better service. They even programmed the boiler for me so I didn't have to worry and gave me a dummies instruction on how to use it. I would have no hesitation in recommending Hancocks to anyone wanting an efficient, friendly, reasonably priced service. They really to offer a good service, something that is hard to find these days. 5 Star, The Michelin Star of Heating Engineering in my opinion. Definitely staying in my phone book!!

I was recommended to try this company by a neighbour in Newick.
They answered my phone call, got all the details correctly and came when they said they would come. The plumber was really quick and efficient, but also pleasant and helpful too. Then when I needed help with a leak they responded very quickly and solved it straight away. I can't praise them enough....
Also I have never known a plumber whose invoice was less than their estimate !
