Loved it here. No vegan options, however, they were very accommodating and had a few dishes they could " veganise". Food was beautiful 😋 service excellent.

Walked in without a reservation the Saturday before Valentine's Day (yes, I know) and we were lucky enough to get their last table! So pleased because it's a lovely environment in which to dine. The wine selection is good, the room is cosy, service is helpful and friendly and both our meals were very good. Poached & roasted chicken breast was excellent and the sea bass was apparently also extremely good. It'd been many years since I'd been in before but I will definitely make sure it's not long before we go back. Recommended!

Still going, again and again, as promised; this remains the stand-out best place to eat (IMHO) in Ashbourne!

Excellent; no other word for it! Despite living locally for some time, we have never dined here - regretting that now!! One of the best dinning experiences for some considerable time.
The interior looks fresh and modern; the staff are utterly professional in everything they do (well trained / very experienced); the food is exceptional in flavour, presentation, and is delivered on hot plates; finally, the menu is seasonal, so expect the dishes to change - Spring, Summer, and Autumn.
As I always say: get yourself along, whether local or just passing through … I know we’ll be going again, and again! 😉

Out for a meal with 2 friends . There should have been 4 of us : he defo missed out. Lovely setting , good food and lovely waitresses . The menu changes every month… so photos are from the August 22 menu . Bit of a treck for us to go from Stoke but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ( already have actually)

Loved this place. The dining area has a spectacular wall to wall window which just draws the eye. It has a boutique feel about. The Staff were excellent the food was fantastic. I had the Coconut and Macadamia crusted salmon and it was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Well done guys 👍

Came here for Christmas Eve. The food was really delicious. Everything was perfect. The place was empty when I entered, so I thought the food would not be that great. However, after eating the food I knew that my opinion about the place was wrong. Whatever you do, don't judge a book by it's cover. A must go restaurant if you visit Ashbourne

Lovely dinner for wife’s birthday here last night. Small but busy, waited on wonderfully from the staff. Helped pop a candle in some profiteroles for a birthday surprise.

Beautiful food, one of the best ever. I had the duck and my wife had the salmon and both were full of flavour. Sweets were not quite up to the same standard but still good.

First visit and found the interior pleasantly surprising, being spacious and with a very impressive atmosphere where the", shop front" was nothing like as impressive. We enjoyed a good meal and excellent service. Quiet at the start the restaurant soon filled up with apparently happy diners and is obviously very popular.

Food was fantastic, huge range of different meals (meat and vegetarian) and all really tasty. A must visit in Ashbourne.

Great service by the friendly team. Fine dining menu that is very reasonably priced for the quality of food that is served. Really nice and varied menu. An unpretentious atmosphere that provides a friendly and high quality dining experience. We had a very lovely time.

Enjoyed a nice meal here, the menu is priced the same for all the starters and is similar for the mains. You can tell the food is freshly made and our starters and mains were very good. 2 starters & mains with a large glass of red each came to £63.

Definitely a good place to go for something different when you have had pub classics most of the week.

Had an excellent evening meal at this lovely, independent restaurant. The ambiance was very nice and we were given a warm and friendly welcome. The menu was interesting and varied, and all the dishes we had were delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
