Had a lovely experience yesterday! Very family friendly (we had a pram, and they put out a baby change for us). The service was very good. The little finishing touches of bringing cutlery on a plate and sauce on a little side plate, too, made it a more pleasant experience. Food is an amazing value for money! Also full for the entirety of our time there, which I feel speaks volumes!

We stopped by the cafe for lunch. Staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome, even with a muddy dog. Food came quickly and was delicious! Would definitely come back again :)

Don’t know why we’ve never been here on our travels before but it’s a great little café run by lovely people! The food was great and locally sourced, always a fan of hash browns as well! Could have done with an extra butter for the toast as there’s not much in the packet but other than that.
Clean, friendly, well decorated and clearly very popular. Not a long walk from the large car park. Highly recommend!

Went here for some lunch today with my little girl 18months old and my sister. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. We both had jacket potatoes which were lovely. Fresh tasty food. Also good prices. Would defo recommend and will be coming back next time we are in the area!

A local shop assistant recommended this cafe while we were visiting Ashbourne from Yorkshire. What a lovely cafe, too, and not too pricey. We both had brie and bacon paninis which were quite substantial and came with a thoughtful salad garnish. The lattes we had were spot on, too. And friendly service. Definitely recommended!

A very substantial and beautifully cooked breakfast for hubby and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on toast for myself, large pot of tea and fabulous coffee served by friendly staff in a lovely environment. What's not to like? We shall be back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cafe, and I must say, their traditional English breakfast is truly exceptional. The perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, and grilled tomatoes left me thoroughly satisfied. The food was nicely presented and they the service was top-notch.

The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. From prompt seating to timely delivery of the food, the service was excellent.

I highly recommend this cafe to anyone in search of a bite to eat, and great breakfast.

Visited here for the first time with my little pooch - the place is very dog-friendly (giving him a blanket and water), and all the staff were very accommodating to my several dietary restrictions. I had an adapted version of the full english breakfast and ploughman's salad - everything was perfectly cooked/prepared, and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Will certianly be back when I can, and would highly recommend visiting here, especially if you have a dog!

Stopped for a coffee and bite to eat while walking round Ashbourne. Service was welcoming and quick. There was a nice lively feel to the cafe, and our breakfast baps rate among the best we’ve had.

Enjoyed my breakfast so much I went back for afternoon tea and cake. Photos show the selection of hotme baked cakes. Everything is freshly made to order. I had a bacon bap and my friend had a prawn sandwich . We shared a pot of tea and it was so good that after a hard day shopping we went back for tea and cake. I scoffed down a slice of carrot cake which was gorgeous. My friend chose the lemon drizzle which she loved.

Very friendly and helpful staff on our first visit. Varied menu featuring jacket potatoes, paninis, soup and sandwiches or more substantial main meals. Specials board. Vegetarian and vegan choices included bean chilli and mozzarella, pesto, tomato panini. Reasonable prices.

Amazing small cafe with incredible food. Came in while travelling and haven’t had many expectations, but my oh my, the food blew me away. Everything seems fresh and cooked to perfection. Unbelievable value too. The interior in nothing to brag about hence the 4 star on the atmosphere, but everything else was fabulous, even on a hot day with no aircon. If you’re in the area definitely visit this cafe, it will not disappoint you!
