Oscar's Cafe & Wine Bar

We called in on a really wet rainy day. We're so pleased we did. We ate lunch here and the pulled pork wrap and chicken with sweet chili panini. Both were saved on a chopping board with fresh mixed leaves salad, pomegranate. Everything burst with flavour. We also drank two flat white coffees which were nice and strong in a large cup. All the staff were very friendly and everywhere very clean. We definitely will call in for another lunch. The portions and cost was extremely reasonable too. We sat upstairs and watched the world pass by.

Called in for a warm drink Fri 15/03/24 visited Holmfirth rained as usual. We didn't eat there hence no stars for food but very pleasant staff there.

This is our second cocktail in as many days, Mikey makes amazing cocktails and the bar has a great vibe. The pizza’s looked great although I haven’t tried one. 10/10. Well done guys.

Nice relaxed surroundings, plenty of atmosphere.the staff went out of their way to make us feel very comfortable.coffee and cake was very nice and extra treats for my granddaughter.sweeties.first time visit but definitely not the last .

A fabulous & cozy little joint with upstairs seating...you need to check it out if you're in or near Holmfirth. They were serving very Tasty food...I had the chorizo and goats cheese with chilli jam panini with a side salad well dressed and some crisps Ialso shared some pulled pork loaded fries ..it was all very delicious.Service 5 star ...friendly &helpful staff

Lovely place, though I did not get the chance to speak to Oscar. Pleasant staff and a great atmosphere with nice drinks on offer. Space could be an issue as they don't have much to work with, but it's part of the charm and feels more cosy than crowded.

Had a lovely time in Oscar's on Saturday day time. The panini's were lovely and really good value for money. There were a couple of really big groups of people in and the staff seemed to be coping really well. Really nice decor and friendly owner. We'll definitely go back 😁

A cosy, stylish Holmfirth bar. The staff were super friendly and dogs are welcomed with open arms. Excellent little bar.

Mila and Issy are amazing bar staff, helped us find the most tasty cocktails. The vibe in the bar is so calm and fun, we can't wait to come back

Once again my husband and I have a wonderful cooked breakfast in a safe environment. Service is efficient and friendly. What else could you possibly as for.
I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Fingers crossed now that they have some ginger cake to take with us.

Great selection of craft beers, always changing. Highly recommend 'Neck oil' when it's on. Loads of choice for non beer drinkers too. Not tried the food since it's changed, menu looks good though. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Always excellent service in Oscar's and again when I visited today. Nothing too much trouble. My daughter regularly gets a take away drink and bun to bring to me at my shop in Holmfirth on a Saturday and always comments on the great service. One of the best mochas ever.

Had drinks with friends Saturday evening, while it wasn’t very busy. It had a really good atmosphere and background music, which allowed us to have a chat. Recommend for good cocktails

Love this little bar our favourite place, Rich the young guy who works there is so freindly and enthusiastic, and knows his stuff ,all the staff are friendly!! try the charcuterie platter to share, it's a lovely treat, while you are enjoying a glass or 2!!! I reserved the room upstairs for a 30th birthday do on Saturday night. All staff were really helpful and friendly, doing anything they could to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Always loved this place new owners and staff very friendly and efficient.
My dog loves it as well she gets spoilt and loves the treats.
