Where do we start with the Vineyard, we got married just under a week ago and can not thank the vineyard enough for making our day run so smoothly, all the preparation, communication and assistance was second to none.

If you are thinking of choosing the vineyard for your wedding DO IT !

Staff amazing, food delicious, great drinks selection, very reasonable pricing and the view to die for.

We would do it all over again in heartbeat, thank you to all the staff and Mia who was fantastic in creating our special day.

Giving 5 stars is discrediting the vineyard, its a 10/10.

Lovely place! We came here to share an afternoon tea with my dad which we really enjoyed. Food was great quality and the staff were all super polite and friendly. The views from the restaurant were superb - even on a cold and miserable January afternoon! Would love to see it in the summer.

Went as a gift for our 40th wedding anniversary. Had afternoon tea, followed by the vineyard tour, with wine to taste.
Stayed overnight in very spacious accommodation. Evening meal also.
Food , tour, wine rooms all excellent. Will definitely be going back.

Such a lovely place, with fabulous views over the valley, we had breakfast with a tour but you could have afternoon tea too they also have accommodation & do weddings, the tour of the vineyard was interesting & the wine was delicious

We got married at Holmfirth Vineyard in April 2024. It's such a beautiful setting with breathtaking scenery it was an easy choice. Communication from booking was faultless, taking all the stress out of the planning. They have such great contacts, linking us with the amazing Pink Blossom, who dressed the venue and made it look extra beautiful!

On the day, the service was incredible. We got the whole place to ourselves, free taxi shuttles, personal service to my husband and I. The staff were helpful, friendly and bent over backwards for us - keeping us relaxed and managing the day from start to finish. The food was exceptional and every guest has commented since on how good it was.

We received a voucher for a wine tour and lunch: it turned out to be a great present! The tour was both informative and funny (Dean was a great tour guide!)
Lunch was delicious. Great views over the vineyard/valley. Friendly and efficient service, and an incredibly tasty burger...it was one of the best burgers I have had in ages! I would highly recommend both the tour and the restaurant for anyone looking to fill half a day in West Yorkshire.

The vineyard was the first wedding venue we looked at & we knew it was the one. The communication from the venue was second to none in the lead up to the big day. Tom & his team were amazing on the day and so accommodating. We provided all of our own venue decoration and the staff were amazing at setting this all up for us, just as we’d imagined. Our guests loved the day too and agreed the service was amazing.Thank you for helping make our day as perfect as ever, we will definitely be re-visiting for our future anniversary’s!

Lovely place for breakfast, with views to die for. We went early so plenty of parking g available and no trouble getting a good table. Food was served quickly and service was great. We will definitely be back.

Birthday treat
We were treated with a voucher for our birthday.
The drive up was along tight country lanes, but when we arrived the views were amazing.
The restaurant overlooks the vines and across the countryside.
The semicircular restaurant looks out across the glorious views.
Food was delicious- good size portions too.
(Unfortunately the waiter tipped a glass of red wine over himself, onto the table and into the chair next to me. Just an accident - but he disappeared leaving me and my husband to mop up the mess with serviettes and tissues. Think his first job should have been to deal with the customer first)

Great tour from a local expert who was very informative while putting a smile on everyone's face with his Barnsley charm and banter. What an asset to the team.

Attended an intimate wedding in their function room and spent about 2 days here.

The accommodation is very spacious and lovely - waking up to a beautiful courtyard, and in between the vineyard and the restaurant.

Wine was quite good, food wasn't much to shout about but the overall value of our experience made up for it. Staff were friendly and helpful all round, and simply a spectacular place to get lovely photos in.

Had breakfast before the wine tasting tour. The breakfast was excellent! Food was excellent quality and delicious. The staff where very attentive polite and courteous. The wine tasting tour was very informative and our guide was great fun and very knowledgeable about the vineyard. The experience from start to finish was great fun and definitely worth every penny. A great way to spend a wet miserable morning

Exciting drive to the vineyard with the narrow lanes & hairpin bends but the lovely views make it worthwhile.
Very interesting & humorous talk about the vineyard before sampling 3 of the wines, was looking forward to having a walk around the vineyard but the torrential rain put us off slightly.
We will certainly be calling again ( but when the sun is shining ) 🌞

Had the pleasure of working with Tom and his team to create and enjoy the ultimate hospitality experience of my life (getting hitched) here. Their professional and efficient service made everything run smoothly. The kitchen was superb at meeting all of our requests and nothing was too difficult for them. I can’t thank them enough. Another successful Friday wedding for their team was made to look effortless by all of them. Keep it up!

We stopped off to see the views and admire the vines! It was a sunny day and had drinks outside! It’s dog friendly outside too. The food looked good and would like to return to try out!!

Visited for Vineyard tour, wine tasting and afternoon tea. Tour guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour (Dean) The wines I tried were dry, fruity and mellow. The afternoon tea was delicious and well presented. We were seated outside which gave us great views. All staff were polite and helpful.

We have been on the tour today and Ash our guide was absolutely brilliant. In fact all of the staff were excellent, from the bar staff in the morning who rustled us up some cake after a long journey (northern hospitality at its finest) to the restaurant staff and the meal was delicious.....along with a cheeky bottle of wine to come home with us too. Highly recommend.

Attended a wedding and stayed over night

The venue was beautiful and the views absolutely incredible. Inside its really lovely with a wrap around conservatory overlooking the amazing views. The staff were all so good. The food was beautiful.

The accommodation was also amazing, just a few mins away from the main venue. Lovely apartments. I would 100% recommend!

I just need to find out if me partner and dog and book in for a weekend as we want to go back now !

We visited Holmfirth Vineyard for Afternoon tea, vineyard tour and wine tasting, overnight stay and breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Very relaxing and lovely views. Also, they were kind enough to arrange a late checkout so that I could complete an online interview.

Very pleasant staff, breakfast was first class, I had eggs benedictine and my partner a full breakfast.
The guide was very informative and gave humour.
They are starting to get more and more wedding bookings, so suggest anyone interested, get in there quick...
Very impressed both with the vineyard and the absolutely amazing view...
