Great service! I am on their mailing list and I saw a Patagonia jacket on sale at a brilliant price. However, the sizing online was a bit strange so I phoned the shop on Saturday morning and asked them to measure the chest size of the large jacket. It turned out that the large would be the right one, so I ordered online immediately. And today, Monday, the jacket arrived. Fits perfectly, looks great, speedy delivery and brilliant phone support!

Top class customer service! I left my glasses in-store whilst trying on a Fjallraven jacket and as I do not live in the area was unable to return to store to pick them up.
On calling the store the next morning the glasses were located, packed securely and sent to my home address.

Thank you ever so much for your assistance Rob, I will certainly be back in-store when I am next in the Lake District!

Excellent service, quality products.
Bought a pair of Patagonia shorts in store last year. Couldn’t fault the customer service then.
Just bought another pair, on line, and had a query. Query sorted and shorts in their way within 12 hours of placing the order.
Will be using them again.

Great company to deal with - I bought a jacket from them and the price dropped just as I bought it. Without any prompting, they refunded me the difference which is fantastic and something I've not had from anywhere else. The jacket didn't fit but I sent it back and the refund was really quick. Would definitely use again.

Hiking and outdoor gear heaven. A great range of high quality brands, friendly and knowledgeable staff definitely worth visiting for outdoor kit. They also offer online ordering which offers equally good service.

I don't think I have ever received better customer service! I made a mistake in the process of ordering a birthday gift, and Katherine really went above and beyond all expectations to put things right for me. She was prompt, polite and helpful when responding to my emails and I got the bag I wanted, in time and at a great price. I would have no hesitation in buying from The Mountain Factor again.

Great service, highly reccomend. I ordered a jacket online and it was shipped very quickly. Unfortunately my local Royal Mail depot lost the first delivery but the guys at Mountain Factor sent me a new one striaght away. Great communication during this process and the quick turn around was amazing as I wanted the jacket for a trip this weeked.

I bought two different jackets in two different sizes in an effort to replace and old lightweight waterproof that had started to leak. The advice offered over the telephone was fantastic. Good honest advice. I kept one of the jackets which was perfect and returned the other three. The refund must have been carried out within minutes of the jackets arriving back. Fantastic customer service. I could not recommend highly enough.

It's nice to find such a well run business. I've visited the shop a few times over the years, and my first experience of buying online was great. Bought a Smartwool top at 20% off RRP. Ordered on Monday morning. Got an email that night to confirm it was shipped. Arrived safely on Wednesday morning by Royal Mail. Zero hassle, great product, good price = 5 stars. Will definitely order from Mountain Factor again.

Great, friendly service. I bought a pair of gloves that unfortunately didn't fit. Mountain Factor made the exchange process very easy and would also have given me a refund if that had been my preference. They were quick to respond to emails and really easy to work with.

I have never written a review but this company is brilliant!!!! I desperately needed a waterproof rucksack to take travelling (but I was picky on what it looked like!!) and had left it last minute so called up and asked them if they had what I wanted in stock and if they could send for next day delivery. They didn't have it but the man I spoke to said there was actually a better option they had in stock and made sure I got it by midday the next day. So helpful and it's a better bag than the one I would have bought otherwise!!! Thank you 😊

I've been procrastinating about getting a new waterproof jacket for ages as unsure what to get. Great advice from a very knowledgeable man (with ZZ Top beard). He had experience of outdoor pursuits and helped a lot. Great range and very helpful staff.

Quick addition ‐ the Paramo waterproof jacket I bought is amazing. I've been out in some extreme conditions and stayed warm and dry.

Great customer service, bought a Kankan bag and stitching came undone after a few weeks use. The bag was very quickly exchanged for a new one with very helpful and responsive
communication. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I bought a shirt as a Christmas present from The Mountain Factor's website, it was really good value and delivery was really quick. I'm not quite sure about the size of the shirt so gave them a ring to check the exchange policy. The chap on the phone was really friendly, gave me some good advice and said that if I wasn't sure of any sizes in the future to call them and they'd be more than happy to measure anything. I'm looking forward to visiting the shop next time we're in The Lakes. Thank you.

I purchased a couple of patagonia jackets both were a very competitive price, quickly delivered and ordering was easy. I found I was between sizes so sent them both back and recieved quick, no problem refunds. I will look to buy something that fits from the mountain factor as they're obviously a good retailer. Haven’t been in to the shop, but have ordered several times from their website. Extremely speedy delivery each time and no-fuss returns. Packaging for items is extremely sensible, no reams of plastic... Also great (and genuine) sale prices on items.

Been purchasing goods both online and in person from this store for several years now. In my experience their customer care, stock selection and delivery are spot on. Usually the first website I check for Patagonia and Fjallraven gear. Not always the cheapest but they are 9 times out of 10.
