Very well located on the main street, Peggy May's Cafe offers the authentic British experience with the full English breakfast and cream tea with declious scones! The venue is pretty cute and baby/kid friendly. The staff was also very nice! If you happen to be in the neighborhood, I recommend you drop by this place for food, tea of coffee!

Excellent gluten free ploughman's lunch with best cheese scone I've ever eaten. Generous portion, well presented on wooden platter. Really fresh, well cooked food.Husband had equally good small all day breakfast. He couldn't manage his piece of snickers cake so they kindly boxed it up to take home. I had a mint aero milkshake which was so thick I had to eat it with a spoon!Very friendly, helpful staff. Dogs welcome.

Perfect gem. The staff were brilliant. Went for breakfast with family including two small children and a dog, who was made very welcome.
Food was perfect, New Forest breakfast was quite a plateful, small English was great too

Really nice little café here. Was pretty busy but we got one of the last available tables. Delicious panini, the chilli jam was unreal. Huge portion on the potato wedges with a nice dip too and reasonably priced with a good drink selection.

Lovely place nice food. 👌 sausage and beans seemed lower quality. Was certainly cooked very well, though, and portions were generous.

As always, the best cafe in Lyndhurst! We love it here because the staff are so welcoming and friendly, the owner is non pretentious and actually comes to chat to the guests, as well as mucking in in the kitchen, the cafe is dog friendly (the staff will gladly bring your pooch a bowl of water) and the food is consistently fresh and cooked to perfection.

We always make a bee line for Peggy May's when in Lyndhurst and are never disappointed 🙂

Bank holiday Monday - the place was full to the brim, with one large party of 8 too. It took them a little time to catch up and welcome us, but from then onwards it was a great experience, excellent full English had lovely chats with waitresses and owner, clearly a (well-behaved) dogs are welcome place.
Telling was also the high proportion of regulars/locals eating - always a good sign!
Will revisit when we pass through Lyndhurst again!

The pricing is on point and the service is relaxed and you feel like they will do anything for you.

Wonderfully delicious lunch. Had their salmon quiche probably the best quiche I have ever had. My husband's toasted chicken sandwich was filled to the brim and he said it was excellent too. Lovely staff too

Absolutely amazing little cafe, the Food is delicious, I had the sausages and they were brilliant. Tea in a proper Tea Pot not just a weak mug of tea. Friendly staff, not expensive, will definitely be returning again.

Fantastic little place. Very friendly and service. We had a plain scone and a cheese scone. Beat scones I've ever tried, and homemade too! Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back!

Fantastic cafe with delicious homemade food and very friendly staff. The sandwiches are just incredible in very thick cut bread, lovely big chips and I had a delicious slice of cake too. All the cakes looked lovely but I can highly recommend the blueberry and white chocolate!

We stumbled upon Peggy mays as we were wanting a drink before heading home. Such a lovely cafe, friendly staff and delicious food. We had the cream tea and huntsman tea (cheese scone). All were served warm with plenty of jam, butter and cream. The tomato chutney which accompanied the cheese scone was delicious. We will definitely come back again.

We often come to Beaulie to events and have been to many Cafes for breakfast - Peggy Mays is outstanding and a cut above the rest - serving proper butchers sausages, bacon and lovely eggs - great food service and value for money - we need another event soon just to have another New Fores breakfast 😃👍

Went here on a recommendation and was certainly not disappointed... The garden tea was amazing. Probably the best coffee and walnut cake I have ever had....staff super friendly. As were the locals in there.
