An amazing company and lady....Caroline was fantastic, she really went out of her way to be so kind and helpful, she totally put me at ease regarding using the woodubend and Buntys gold wax... Now I just want to do something else! There is also pretty much the whole pot left, it really does go a long way!!! I would recommend the company and Caroline, and will definately return if and when needed. Thank you Caroline and best wishes in all you do.

I collected my order of Fusion paint from Caroline… and wow 😯! I didn’t want to leave. Not only is Godfrey’s Ear located in a beautiful location with stunning views, I was like a child in a candy store looking at the colour and range of paints Caroline has to offer. Caroline’s knowledge and help is second to non. If Caroline doesn’t know then she knows someone who will!
Caroline is just so welcoming, warm and so helpful. I can’t wait for her to have her next course, whether it be resin pouring or decoupage I will certainly be attending.
I can’t wait now to finish my piece so I can visit Godfrey’s Ear again.

This is the second time I’ve bought furniture from Caroline at Godfrey’s Ear. The first was a drinks cabinet that I found online. Just loved it and was so impressed with the service. When I started hunting for a new dressing table, I got in touch to see if there was anything available that could be painted for me. Caroline showed me a few options and with her help we decided on a beautiful design. It now sits in my dressing room and is the star of the show! From start to finish, Caroline kept in touch and was so friendly and easy to chat to. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re looking to have some beautiful furniture restyled or to have a look at the items she’s already completed! A true artist and the skill is second to none!

So pleased with the furniture Caroline has beautifully restored for us. From drab old fashioned pieces nobody would want in their home to beautiful stylish furniture to be proud of. The finish is immaculate and you would never know they are painted, not a brush stroke in sight.
So pleased we immediately found another piece for restoration we had thought of taking to the tip.

We're delighted with the new lease of life Caroline brought to our much-loved but outdated Stag Minstrel furniture and a rather shabby side table! We had a beautiful old sideboard , which had been passed down to us through the family. Sadly it no longer 'went with our home' until we found Caroline .
Along with other pieces of our furniture Caroline , restored and brought them up to date , thus giving them many more years of life and enjoyment.

Caroline is a true artist, her painted furniture is of the highest quality, as is the commission service she offers.
Her studio is gorgeous and surrounded by the most wonderful countryside, well worth a visit, her coffee and biscuits are great too!

I bought the 1950s G plan and it looks amazing in my little salon! It has really given the place some character and personality. I love the colour of it and I love the finish. Caroline was really friendly and helpful, They even delivered it personally! Which I thought was a lovely touch.

We viewed and bought a beautifully upcycled Ercol coffee table from Caroline - who allowed us to take our time to make our decision. We made an appointment to view to ensure that we were the only people around, meaning that it was easy to keep to social distancing guidelines. Caroline was so helpful and accomodating and we very much recommend Godfrey's Ear, and hope to be buying from here again in the future.

I have bought an item previously which was an excellent transaction & the table was first class, I didn’t hesitate when I bought my chest of drawers, again it was a lovely item, beautifully painted and again the transaction was perfect, well packaged and the delivery crew were great, I would never hesitate to order again from Caroline, she is a perfectionist.
