Church Farm Cottages

Booked this quiet quaint cottage near Ashford, Derbyshire for a relaxing week, a little sightseeing and dog walking. That's what we got. We stayed in Orchard Cottage which sleeps four, a double bed and a bunk bed. Mastered lighting the log fire, there is electric central heating throughout. This cottage is on a farm that has horses and a resident peacock. Plenty of places to visit like Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Castleton. Research them and you will find lots to do with children. We would plan our day, pack a cool box and explore.

Had a fantastic stay here. Hosts were very welcoming. Had some great walks even though we had 2 storms during our visit. Would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic New Year stay with family and friends . Had the two cottages next to each other ,both were very cosy and clean ,lots of nice touches ,card and Prosecco . Owner was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know to make our stay comfortable . Small garden at rear ideal for the dog . Few minutes walk away from local pub that served great food and gives friendly service . Ideal base to visit some of Derbyshire attractions . Would definitely return in the future .

Super location run by Lois. Cottage has everything one need. Downside it's not really suitable for elderly people with walking difficulties, toomany steps.

Amazing place to stay, will definitely be looking to stay again.

This was our third visit so obviously we love this place and the owners.
