Miller & Carter Harlow

To call these restaurants a " chain" does them a disservice. They each have their own unique charm and never fail to satisfy.
We had an evening family meal and the quality of the food, and it's presentation was truly superb. Miller and Carter have established a business plan that works. It wins for them and for the customer. We have a newly opened M&C in Plymouth, and we will be booking in the near future.

Celebrated our anniversary here tonight and received an amazing service as my first time in Miller and Carter. Nico served us and I would say I was impressed with the lovely service. Front house was very helpful to all our needs. My steak was cooked perfectly and I would say I will come back again. Thank you guys!

The food was lovely. It was our first time coming here and we both loved it. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. Our waitress Pam was lovely and really welcoming. Had a wonderful experience

First time eating here and I was not disappointed the food was delicious and perfect portions, the service was amazing, Abbie was so lovely and very attentive and approachable, we will be back definitely a lovely last meal ending year 2023 for us! Thank you for a lovely experience:)

Family occasion at The Miller & Carter Harlow and it’s always lovely, family food. Always good size portions, always a friendly atmosphere, always very friendly, helpful staff that cannot do enough for you. Food is tasty and everyone leaves full & happy. What more could you want?! 🤩

I have been here once and didn't like the service as receptionist was unfriendly and nearly sent my whole family away. But my second time here today a friend who booked this restaurant and Jason has changed my mind with his great service. Absolutely Great experience indeed. Will come again.

We had another very good experience on mother's day. We were fortunate enough to have Jason as our server again who is always so accommodating. We have two autistic children and he always ensure that we have a stress free experience as possible. The steaks were cooked great however I'm not sure whether it was because the chefs were rushed but presentation of food looked a bit thrown onto the plate. All in all a good experience and made better by Jason, thank you!

Excellent food and service from Michelle this evening. Butchers block is fantastic and great value for money cooked perfectly to our liking (chef Harrison) we were told. Halloumi fries for starter were delicious too! Thanks for a lovely evening!

Had some time to kill before heading to Stansted so opted for a decent meal instead of fastfood. Was dining alone so sat in the bar area. Felt comfortable, staff were polite and the food was very good. I eat here every few months and the food is consistently good. £36 for a ribeye is not cheap but when it's served cooked to perfection in such a nice environment its worth every penny.
Good selection of wines.
Parking is easy.
Restaurant and facilities are always spotless.

We had a great time! We thought we’d take advantage of Miller and Carters fixed lunch menu in which didn’t disappoint. Food was fantastic, tasty and as expected. Service was exceptional, Jason was friendly and attentive and not to mention helped with great recommendations. Having been to a number of Miller and Carters, we would highly recommend Harlow.

This restaurant is more than your average steakhouse. I would recommend that you make reservations. The staff are friendly and attentive. The starters came within 10 minutes of the order, and the main course arrived within 15 minutes of the starters. It can get really busy after 7pm. The food was excellent. The only problem I have is I think the sides are a little small, however I did feel full when I left.

Brooke was very helpful this evening, she was very smily and very happy. This was such a lovely evening.

Brooke was so polite and kind and catered to all of our needs. We would definitely recommend coming to the Miller and Carter as the food was insane!!

Popped in for lunch and we had such a nice time. The service was fantastic, everything came out quickly and the steak was some of the best steak I've had.

The lady serving us (Pam), was really welcoming and friendly and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Went for a birthday dinner and our waitress (Jade) was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere and food were lovely and she helped make it a lovely experience

When my boyfriend pulled into the car park instantly I said why did you take me here this isn't the kind of place I would go to eat.
I was pleasantly surprised that the staff was so nice I felt very comfortable.
The layout was so pretty the table layout was just well presented.
The food and drinks were so good, At the end of the evening I was stuffed I couldn't finish it all so I asked for a takeaway container.
I would definitely come back here again and definitely recommend to other people to go and get great service and great food.

Happy New Year, this was my 3rd time to have dinner in this restaurant and I met a very good staff Mandy. Today is my wife’s birthday and she gives a surprise birthday song to my wife with a lovely birthday wordings on desert plate. My wife and my family love Mandy’s arrangement. She is full heart of service to customers and she is really a good staff of this restaurant. I will definitely come back to this restaurant with Mandy’s perfect service. We’ve been coming to miller and Carter for years. We went out for my brothers birthday today, the food was lovely and we was served by Michelle. She was amazing as usual, so welcoming, friendly and cheerful! She made our family meal a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back. Xx

Brilliant service, delicious food and an overall excellent experience. Despite having two toddlers, we were looked after really well and served by Amy P. She made us feel so comfortable, was so friendly and catered to our needs really well. Thank you to the team and to Amy P for a wonderful time!

Our first ever visit. Been driving past for years and finally we went in. It was very busy but we still easily got a parking. Inside it took a few minutes to be seated for our reservation. Our Server, Jason, was fantastic. Really helpful and easy to talk to.
The food wasn’t the best we’ve ever had but it was very well worth the money spent. It arrived quickly considering how busy the restaurant was. Really enjoyed a relaxing evening in a good atmosphere. It wasn’t too noisy and Jason was there every time we needed anything. He even somehow broke the mold of disappearing just after dessert when you want the bill. He was right there. Even really helpful with suggestions to suit our diet. Good value and good food. We will definitely be back.
