Kingswood Surgery

My father stayed with us over Easter and became unwell. We were able to get an appointment for him at the surgery the same day and he was seen by Dr Appleby. He received a thorough consultation and was prescribed medication which alleviated the problem. We were very happy with the prompt and efficient service he received. Thank you to all the staff at the surgery.

Kingswood and ALL STAFF there have always helpful respectful and treated myself and my flatmate professionally. Have been with Kingswood for many years would never consider charging surgery. Times changed Big tnx u to Dr Stone and Dr Moriarty.

Been a patient for 35 years. Always excellent but times have changed. The pressure on the NHS and the amount of paperwork that has to be attended to means the care is not as personal as one would wish.

My family and I have used this practice for all our lives and are incredibly grateful to all doctors, nurses and staff. Special shout out to Dr Bowes and Dr Stone for all their support, excellent doctors!

Kingswood's staff and GPs are a dedicated team of individuals who go the extra mile. You can see that the past two years have had an impact. As a result the practice isn't operating the way it was before the pandemic, but none can in all honesty.

I have found it more difficult to get an appointment than before, you do have to wait and that is frustrating if you are working. But if you have a real emergency, they will do their best to accommodate you and get you seen at short notice.

After reading a couple of reviews here, I think people seem to believe the pandemic is all over and things should return to normal. They do not realise that there is no short swift readjustment to how things were.

I can’t vekieve this surgery gets bad reviews.

I have been coming for 5 years. The doctors, without exception, are kind and highly effective. The reception staff are busy but considerate and clearly try hard to accommodate. Dr Bowes is wonderful and I live in fear he’s going to early retire!

My nan was with this surgery for many years before she passed in 2007. I have been with the surgery and the same dr for over 20 years. I do not know what im going to do if dr Bowes takes early retirement as he is a brilliant doctor.

Always helpful and efficient. Dr Bowes is always excellent. Reception staff have always been polite to me, with exception of one lady.
