Calverley Grounds

Fabulous afternoon in Calverley Grounds, the outdoor ice rink and festive stalls are excellent. A true winter wonderland experience that brings festive joy to everyone. Highly recommended for a fun afternoon with family and friends.

This park is a true gem, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting. It is well-maintained and provides a great place to relax and take in the beauty of nature. We had our wedding photos taken here, and the stunning surroundings served as the perfect backdrop. We also loved seeing all the playful squirrels running around the park.

Once again festive ice skating was a great experience, small Ferris wheel and stalls, nice hot chocolate (dairy free options) and mulled wine

Great park to walk around and gather your thoughts. Also lots of lunch spots out on the grass.
Kiosk is available in case you haven't got a packed lunch or fancy a cup of coffee and relax on a bench.

Beautiful park in the middle of the 'Ton'. It has tennis courts, outdoor gym, basketball place, children playground with a small cafe, a mini 'formal gardens' and loads of beauty. There is constantly something happening there with food festivals, ice skating in the winter and other events. There is even a high slope ready for your outdoor lunch or to use it when snow flakes are in sight.

Beautiful park in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. I used to come here a lot as a teenager but it's the first time I've been back in a long time.

The grounds are fairly small but full with beautiful plants and flowers. It's especially beautiful in summer when all the bees and butterflies come out.

There are also sports facilities and a child's play area in the grounds so it's good for all ages and not just to walk around or have a picnic.

Quaint little park in the heart of Tunbridge. Perfect place to have lunch and chill in the sunshine. Landscaped gardens are kept clean, and there is a small cafe and tennis courts here too.

We popped in here on the way back to the steam railway and so glad we did. There was a Marry Poppins display going on with the car out of the film and the cast from the stage show all dressed up. There was also Mr Bean's car on display. The atmosphere was amazing, and the whole park had a lovely vibe to the place. Definitely recommend a visit here, there's lots to explore and the park is very well maintained.

Great little relaxing park. The cafe is pretty cheap and serves many different sanwiches and cakes along with tea and coffee and the staff are friendly. The flowers around the park look beautiful and there's a very nice play park for children. Would love to go back and seenitnallnagain someday.

A great place for a nice stroll and enjoying nature if you want to get away from all those cars for a minute. Even on a sunny day it's not too crowded.

So today was supposed to be a festival. We braved the rain tried a few of the mixed culture foods. Only 5 stands and the stage started packing up. This was all due to weather conditions unfortunately but it was fun for the entirety of our stay until lightning was touching down in the local area. Wish we could of stayed longer but day was wrapped up fast as I'm sure is understandable. Other than that short but fun great day out. Deffo going again next year. Dunno why a ice cream van was there 😆😆😆 on such a rainy day

This is a great public garden with lots to do at all times of day.
We use the playground and the gym equipment as a family; or just walk around enjoying the green space.
There are often events here, too, like food, music and arts festivals, and wildlife tours and walks.
During the day it's busy enough to feel safe, but I would not usually visit after dark, except in December when the ice rink is running, and it turns into a winter wonderland, with skating and curling, as well as food stalls and (this year) a ferris wheel. Even if you don't fancy the skating, it's still fun to stroll past and see what's happening on the rink.

Fantastic show ground! Never fails always a very good day out for all the family! Loads to see lots to do definitely worth the day out. 100% an event day not to miss

Lovely park with great views and a fabulous Caffe- great prices and amazing staff. Best place for nice walks in the town centre!

What a lovely park. I lapped at a double scoop of rum and raisin ice cream while I sat in the sunshine and admired the idyllic scene of people enjoying their free time amidst well-manicured greenery.
