Pets at Home Croydon

On the 18th of March I brought my dog in to do some shopping, but unfortunately didn't have a coin to get a trolley. This wonderful assistant got a trolley for me and loaded what I had already put on the counter. When I came to paying, she advised to me that some of my stuff was on discount on the pets at home app. And despite me not having the app, she helped me install it and took me through it so that in the end I got a very good discount. She was so helpful and I couldn't have been more grateful. Sadly, I can't recall her name, but certainly my experience at this store is that every single member of staff has been incredibly helpful. Thank you everyone!!

The store is well stocked and we were able to try on lots of dog clothes to celebrate our little furry friend's birthday 🎈

I feel so relieved to find an XL cage for our Syrian hamster, as well as an XL wheel. As they are the largest of the domesticated hamsters, they need an especially large wheel to prevent back problems.
Sadly, we had tried to support a local pet store previously, so got our adorable hamster from there, along with the recommended cage and wheel, amongst other things. Turns out, after he reached full size, he couldn't use the wheel any more for risk of injury of his back. Appalling this other store let us purchase it.
Anyway, I will be coming to Pets at Home in Croydon from now on, great selection of cages, treats, toys etc. And HUGE THANKS TO STEPHEN - who greeted us and gave us a big smile when we entered, and then was very helpful checking us out at the till as well, friendly, kind and professional. Thanks Stephen. And our hamster seems very happy in his new home.

The staff are amazing honestly, I am new to having fish and they are so helpful with everything, also the selection of stuff seem decent to me, only thing is I wish they had a way to reserve fish for when they come in

My dogs favourite place, until today, when I realised there was a diy groom room and made her have a wash. She had a shower, conditioner, rinse, blow dry all in her own little shower room. £5 for 10 minutes and worth every single penny. So easy to use

The 2 men working there today were very helpful! I hate asking for help, but I can't currently lift anything heavy, and they were very willing to go out of their way to help.

Came to the store to get some tropical fishes for my fish tank I have set up at home. The girl was very helpful and I have purchased a couple fishes I've never had before, she recommended. Going back in a week's time for a water test and hopefully getting some more fish.

Fantastic service from the staff just bought our first pet rabbits and the staff have been nothing but a blessing , very helpful and knowledgeable. This company actually cares about its animals welfare and living conditions! They recommend me everything that is needed and have just been amazing ! Thanks guys

Lovely store. First time I've been into a pet store and would be happy to go there again. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. They must stock everything you could possibly need for a large amount of animals. My niece was able to pick the hamster she wanted, which was great!!

Got my neice and nephew their first fish and tank for Christmas. The service was great, the kids gained alot of knowledge about how to look after their first fish in store from the assistant. Good tropical and non tropical fish available. Great customer service all around the store.

Did click and collect got email when was ready and collect was straight forward

It was the best my son wanted to by a cat so we bought one and the workers are so helpful.

Was served by young lady named Gabrielle..so HELPFUL..helped us download app on phone explained and smiled whole time!

My good old local pet store. Lots of sales and good deals going on at the moment. My Frenchie absolutely loves his new toys. The staff are always friendly and helpful 😃

Enjoy the shop for products. Could do with more types of cat / kitten food and more interesting toys but can look on line too. Very helpful service from staff when approached. Queues can be a bit hit and miss. Price can sometimes be a bit high but vouchers can help.
