My wife and I took our daughter to East Hills Café Bistro last night to celebrate her excellent end of year A-level results. And it was a real treat, for all of us. The service was absolutely first class, from the exceptional manager and all staff we interacted with. Superb menu knowledge, great advice, friendly and attentive. And the food... incredible! We opted for the small plates, tapas style. Every single dish we ordered was perfect. Beautifully presented, wonderful flavours. So much so, we ordered more and probably ended up try most of the menu. I have to say, the paella was as good as any I've ever had in Spain. It really was that good. The Sweet & Sour Monkfish is also definitely one not to miss. We'll certainly be visiting again. Especially ss we now know the Bistro is dog-friendly too.

Lovely place, stopped for breakfast twice whilst holidaying nearby. Great full English and excellent vegetarian breakfast. One minor point need bigger tea pots, really good to have loose leave tea but very strong in a small teapot. Overall well worth a visit

Beautiful afternoon tea. Everything nice and fresh with as much tea and coffee as you want. Very good value at £25 for two and lovely surroundings including the little gift shop. Really nice place, I shall be back.

We had the fish of the day and prawns. Both are very delicious and perfectly cooked.

Eat here regularly. Staff are amazing and knowledgeable and the food is delicious. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere like being in holiday. Highly recommend. Food very reasonably priced too.

They didn’t have any savoury gluten free options which was disappointing. We had gone for my hubbies birthday. The walk was lovely and atmosphere great.

Rather nice. 7 of us in the side room, great service and lovely breakfast. From full English to Advocado with poached eggs. All came out piping hot and delicious. Definitely recommend 👌

We went here today (with my sister and her two two-year-olds) and were very pleased with the super friendly service. Of course the twins are adorable but they got treated with such warmth. What a child friendly place. Enjoyed my coffee and scone and sister enjoyed the sausage roll. E&E really enjoyed the chocolate cake while watching the boats.

Fabulous meal. We had breakfast here earlier in the week and it was really nice so we booked a table for dinner on the Friday evening. We were not disappointed. Food was fantastic. Definitely would eat here again. Staff were lovely as well. Well worth a try

A hidden gem at this beautiful marina, a great breakfast made all the more enjoyable by the welcoming, attentive and upbeat staff. Looking forward to this becoming a more regular haunt and trying the lunch menu along with the evening fish dishes. Really well done with a great vibe, thank you.

Fantastic. When for lunch with a 2pm reservation with my wife and mother in law, the menu was a little limited but wow the food was amazing. The fish was hanging over the edges of the plate served with fries and a small side of mushy peas and tartar sauce. Mussels came in a kettle pot as big as my wife head. Amazing. We will return very soon.

Lovely location, good food and reasonable prices and the main thing, ther service from the main host was outstanding. I didn't catch her name unfortunately but she had great banter with me and my friend and she was attentive and just simply brilliant at her job. Very good sense of humour and a real character 👏
