St Mary's Church, Fishley

A gorgeous small church along a farm track nestled amongst lime and conifers. Visited when closed and then came back following Friday when open. Ivan, church warden and wonderful volunteer, sat us down and pieced together the history of the church as a mystery tale with much of the plot still unknown. Suffragettes, lost villages and manor houses.

Great wedding venue, awesome surroundings if you like rustic. Church, barns and a large house to stay in.

A stunning and quaint little church that we were lucky enough to have host our wedding ceremony in April 18. We held our reception at Fishley Hall, which is a short walk down the road from the church, and each complimented the other perfectly. The church wardens at St Mary's were superb - particularly Ivan, who helped so much throughout. Rev.d Nick was great too in welcoming us into the Fishley family, and giving us such a lovely ceremony. We'll never forget this lovely little church.

Dinky looking church with its small round tower not far from Acle. Closed when we were there so couldn't see inside.

Lovely but small

Open fridays apparently. We went on a Friday and it was closed. Double locked indeed. Porch and door. Not impressed.
