Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa

I stayed at a luxurious hotel with stunning views, impeccable service, and lavish amenities. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated, with a plush king-sized bed and a marble bathroom. I indulged in gourmet meals at the hotel's fine dining restaurant and relaxed by the infinity pool overlooking the sky . The staff catered to my every need, making me feel like royalty during my stay. It was truly a pampering and unforgettable experience

Absolutely stunning hotel with fabulous amenities. The gym and pool are tempting, even if you do not want to work out you will want to use those amenities. The food was delicious and the atmosphere enhanced the dining experiences. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful with service and recommendations and made the trip very smooth. The location is not far from airport and the shuttle service is reliable.

Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Close to airport and central Addis Ababa. Enjoyed the stay. Staff even moved me without incident when another guest started smoking and fumes entered my room. Lots of great places to hang out in hotel as well.

Visited the Hyatt many times and even held our NGO staff Christmas party this last year. Excellent food and wonderful ambiance. A very impressive addition to Addis and very close to the famous Meskel Square

On day 4 of 5 nights of my stay at the Hyatt Regency Addis and I’m truly blown away at the outstanding level of service and care. While I came to Addis to visit my father and celebrate NYE, he ended up falling sick and staying in the Hyatt with me. The level of attention received by the staff was unbelievable, from room service sending him complimentary soup and fruits to feel better to the sweet front office manager Genet ensuring he is comfortable and taken care of. Even asking me periodically how he is feeling. I’m truly impressed by her and the whole team at the Hyatt. The baristas at the lobby coffee bar are all exceptional and kind. This Hyatt location is undoubtedly 5 stars and as someone who has traveled all over the world, I have never experienced this level of thoughtfulness. Upon arrival, they also treated me to a bouquet of flowers due to being Explorist. This is 100% my go to hotel when visiting Addis moving forward. Thank you so much to this beyond lovely staff for such a memorable stay.

On the face of it, this is a pretty standard high end hotel.
The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. All of the open areas are the same.
The gym and the pool are really nice and also spotless.
The food, especially in the oriental kitchen, is excellent.

However, what really sets this hotel apart from other excellent hotels are the staff. From check in, to check out, and all the way in between, every staff member I encountered was extremely friendly (and genuinely so), professional, humorous and efficient. On my last morning, the entire breakfast team gathered around me to say goodbye and bon voyage. They also gave me this pastry. A very nice touch.

I really cannot recommend this hotel enough

The staff at this hotel are exceptional. I stay frequently and everyone goes out of their way to please. The kitchen team including Judy, Yalem, Etsub, Genenew, Wonde, Mulu and Eyob always make me feel like I'm home. Best of all is warm smile I get from Lidiya every time she welcomes me.

Just the get keepers at the main entrance need extra training how to speak to customers, they are very rude!

What a wonderful stay! This is my second time staying at The Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa and I must say the experience is extremely positive. The place is a perfect mix of Authentic fine Ethiopian aesthetic with luxurious modern facilities. All of this in the heart of the city. Very well designed spacious rooms, modern amenities, and the staff is very friendly :
Right at the entrance, you feel the Ethiopian experience by trying the traditional coffee ceremony with Wessen, a very welcoming lady who makes you feel authentic Ethiopian hospitality. I had a chance to meet Tim’ the Rooms Director, his discrete presence but very efficient management just make the stay goes beyond expectation : nicely designed, very clean and well kept rooms! The team at the reception is very helpful, Hanane did a great job helping me with all my questions and fixing my devices issues for my business. Thom, always there to help as well. At the café, Nigest is a very hard working lady providing excellent service with tasty cookies. Mengesteab, Ayub, Temesgen are all very friendly and professional. Tsion at the bar is very professional and Lydia, Alem at the restaurant are all very professional.
I absolutely recommend this Hotel both for business or vacation!

Great place to stay in as well as to use the Cafe and restaurant. Location, view specially the outdoor Cafe with the greenery makes it z place to refresh and chill.

Amazing and good customer care. From the entrance to restaurants. Cascara, The Kitchen, Oriental, Marcus team. I tell you these people are so amazing qnd loving. I would wish to work with them one day. Cascara stuff even gifted me a happy Meskel traditional shirt ❤❤❤🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿. KALKIDAN an amazing 👏🏿 waitress and a team leader. Her smile will make you come back, drink and relax at Cascara.

Love the pool and restaurant great vibe good cocktails. Bar stuff were great loved the vibe and the music at the bar.

The best hotel I have stayed in to date in Addis. Super clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and attentive staff. 2 restaurants on site plus a cocktail/ coffee bar. Would definitely recommend.

Great conference venue. Congratulations Africa on another great Hyatt! So glad to see this brand increasing its footprint on this continent. I was here for a conference with about 100 people and it was a seamless experience. Rooms, conference facilities, wifi, AV, food was great and always provided with friendly service.
Congratulations for pulling off such a great operation with such fidelity to the Hyatt Regency brand. Loved it and will come back.

The 3 days and 2 nights I spent at the Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa were absolutely amazing.

The staff is friendly, they all speak English. Very cleaned and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is EVERYTHING. I already miss the Hotel... can't wait to go back there.

Hyatt Regency Addis was established approximately six years ago. It overlooks the historical Meskel Square and sits in a short distance from the Bole international airport along the Africa avenue. Behind it is the Jomo Kenyatta avenue. It is centrally located for those wishing to visit various important administrative and international organisations within town. The hotel has 12 suites and 188 guest rooms, a large presidential suite, restaurant, swimming pool, an event area, conference facilities and is probably the only pet friendly hotel in town. The interior decor is among the best in class. Very secure with very friendly staff

Your attention to detail and exceptional hospitality made the day unforgettable. The venue was stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa hotel for its exceptional service. I have visited this hotel multiple times with my friends, and each time has been a delightful experience. The Oriental restaurant, in particular, stands out as the best place for dining, offering unique dishes like aged meat that you won't find elsewhere in the same city. The team at the hotel is truly outstanding, and I would like to give a special mention to Ms. Tadelech from the Oriental restaurant. She provided us with excellent service, always maintaining a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
