We came here after going to the foundation house. This shows a different side to César. Less of a hedonist, more of a traditional, more relaxed side. The contrast between this location and the “post modern” home is like black and white. This is more relaxed, less party, more calming. Lots to see. Especially liked the bathrooms, the workshop, the main bedroom (small bed??) and the gardens. Noted we spent less time here than the other one. Shame we didn’t get to see upstairs. Look out for the drinks “trolley” and the bathroom scales

We really enjoyed visiting the home where Cesar Manrique, Lanzarote's most renowned artist, spent the last few years of his life. Entry price: €10/adult. Parking is a problem if it's busy, as there are only a few parking places on the road, which is a one way street. Despite this, we highly enjoyed the beautiful architecture and decor. We highly recommend this unique experience!

Visited the Museeo De Cesar Manrique with my wife and friends he was certainly an inspirational person in the art world of Lanzarote not only in art but as well as he had a say in how the island was to be kept not built up and no buildings over a certain height plus white buildings and green windows and doors etc

Beautiful house. Luckily there were not a lot of other visitors while we were there? So we had the time to enjoy.
Loved the calm atmosphere in the house and the atelier who brings you back to a relaxed life style. Would be happy to move in anytime :)
Entrance is relativily expensive for a short visit, but worth the visit to better understand the person who Manrique was.

It's a Must-see museum in Haria specifically and in Lanzarote in general. It gives you the feeling as if Cesar has just left the Villa and will return soon...
In combination with visiting his other museum, it fulfills the picture of himself and his life.

Definitely worth the visit. Admission fee is 10 euro's. I advise to come early, as it can get quite busy. Access to the house, as well as to Manrique's art studio, where nothing was touched, after he died.

Such a contrast to his other house, but equally as interesting. Enjoyed the documentary that was playing. I wasn't aware of Cesar Manrique prior to visiting Lanzarote but found him intriguing & felt a connection.

Lovely place, but pretty small. 1 hour is well enough, but it's worth it.

Amazing place, it looks like he just walked out and could walk back in any time. He had the right idea about big open rooms with lots of light, even one of the bathrooms! Interesting lights and his house plants make mine look positively wimpish!!!!!

Really informative and eye opening how he protected the island! I hope the government keeps it up to implement “soft tourism” without ugly hotel buildings!

Finally got there via treacherous road from Teguise. Very interesting to see his living space, his studio and learn more about Manrique. A fascinating artist/designer/architect etc. Reminds me of a younger version of Hundertwasser .

You won't see anything better today. Beautiful interiors designed with great taste. Lots of greenery, playing with light, spacious rooms. Worth every Euro.

I still don’t know practically anything about Mr Manrique but it was a nice visit to his house. I left with certain je ne sais quoi feeling. I will remember this visit.

Fantastic attraction with lots to see and beautiful location. For the price it’s really good value and we spent an hour looking around. Took lots of amazing photos which you will see. It’s a bit hidden but well worth the track to the end of the island
