A great place to visit. Even if you're not especially a cactus lover, the planting, variety of shapes, textures, colours etc are stimulating and wonderful to look at. The restaurant has a limited venue - light bites. You get a good view overlooking the gardens and there is a quick turnover of guests.

Really beautiful garden with 4500 different cacti of all shapes and sizes. Book tickets in advance easily on the web. Not too much of a queue to get in, lots of little walkways around to soak up the visitors. Signs to show the different cactus names, a little windmill to visit and a giftshop selling cactus merch. Really enjoyed it.

Look, this isn't a thrill ride, but it's stunning. Engineering wise, a miracle, artisticly beautiful and ecologically a marvel. A stark contrast from most of the island, this green and pleasant pocket is so worth a visit that I may go twice in a week. Inly €8 for and adult which is a steal.

Amazing selection of 🌵 but it happened to run when we arrived so my pictures aren't the best ever!

And one of the cacti decided to attack me 😮🙄

They are beautiful but very prickly beware...

Absolutely stunning! Well worth the 8 Euro entrance fee. I spent three hours in the garden, discovering all the various species of cacti, euphorbia, agave, aloe and many other succulents, many of which I had never seen in real life before. From the elevated terrace you have an amazing view of the entire garden.

I hadn’t seen this many cactus since last year while visiting Arizona national parks. Very pretty and laid out so that even with so many people it never felt crowded.

For just 8€ you can see this stunning garden full of different types of cacti. Tiny, small, big and huge :-) It looks small at first glance, but we spend 1.5h without noticing how time flies.

Stunning place! So calm and peaceful too! Great variety of Cacti! Would have liked a bit more information about the garden in leaflet, audio or book form! There wasn't even a book about the construction of the garden in english in the shop. However I got all the info online! Loved it there and will definitely be back!

What an amazing place, imaginatively designed and wonderfully looked after.
The collection of cacti , aloes ,agaves is vast
The facilities are clean and were in good working order . The gift shop has some very tasteful items at very reasonable prices.

Garden of Cactus

The Jardín de Cactus is a magnificent example of architectural design that fits seamlessly into the landscape.

César Manrique created this bold architectural work while maintaining the unbreakable balance of art and nature that emanates from all of his spatial artworks.

It is located in the town of Guatiza, in the municipality of Teguise, in the center of an agricultural environment characterized by the extensive cactus plantations dedicated to the production of cochineal scale insects.

Started to love cacti when visited canary islands. It is a must place if you share the love of them, so many different ones, one more beautiful than the other, shapes that does not make any sense. We arrived early but got in without waiting.

Stunning cactus garden; I could easily spend an hour here walking through the garden paths. It's quite small area so not too much walking involved.

Well worth going to if in the area - good to do in same day as other nearby attractions. You can get a group ticket for multiple attractions at reduced price.

Free parking, toilets, cool-down room, bar/café.

Stunning garden beautifully laid out on an amphitheatre. You can walk on top of the ledges like a labyrinth. It feels other-wordly with the vast volcanic landscape beyond. Myself and my two kids made it on two buses from Peurto del Carmen so if you don't mind waiting around a bit, there is probably no need to do an expensive coach tour

Not to miss. And again a project from César Manrique; as always : more than worth the visit, even if you're not the least interested in cactuses. Magnificent architecture. Beautiful garden layout.

Very different experience. Area in itself isn't large, but there is much to see and it is presented in an involving way. As you trek yourself through the cacti you'll see large number of plants, from tiny to tree-sized. In a weird way it is quite breathtaking world. I must recommend. And their canarian potatoes are pretty awesome 👍. Must also mention the intenstine-shaped cactus as prrsonal favourite (in the pics).
