Lanzarote Airport

Great staff, booked assistance for my daughter and the staff were excellent!
Plenty of shops, bars and cafés to fill time while waiting for flights. Terminal has 12 gates so not too far to go wherever you are when your gate is announced.

Lanzarote Airport (Spanish Aeropuerto César Manrique-Lanzarote; IATA code: ACE, ICAO code: GCRR) is a Spanish airport on the island of Lanzarote near the island's capital Arrecife.

It is eleventh on the list of airports in Spain and is the third largest in the Canary Islands after Gran Canaria and Tenerife South airports.

The airport is also used by the Spanish Air Force as the Aeródromo Militar de Lanzarote.

I was here on 19 December after i got on the plane by Fuerteventura. We made a stop here and we had too go out of the airplane, because they cleaned the plane.

Clean and tidy. Very efficient, luggage quickly off the plane. Onward transport arrangements well organised.

Don't feel you have to buy bottled water immediately after Departures security; there are free water fountains near gates 3 &12. And recycling bins available: more green than our 4 star hotel.

Great food and duty free. Very handy airport. Love the shops here. Very reasonably priced . Very calm experience in off peak season.

The airport was easy to get through and fly from with little wait at security. Passport control here is an e-gate and did not require any stamps at the border from UK. There are a large range of retail outlets once past security. Overall I would fly here again. The approach is amazing as you land as you can see the sea and beach.

Great place to take pictures and videos of planes taking off and landing. You can have some beach time also, beach is right next to the airport runway.

Small and nice airport with decent prices

Nice Airport with a variety of shops and food outlets. Not far to any of the gates. A pleasant experience.
It is a shame that the last chance of sun and fresh air are designated smokers areas. Would be nice to have a couple of areas outside for non-smokers.

Revisited lanzarote again last week. Got through with no problems. On departure found it clean, plenty of seats in and out on terraces. Lots of places to eat and other shops. Lots of info signs. Good views of runway.

Fantastic little airport. The only downside was the lounge was full, they definitely need a bigger one listening to others saying they are always struggling to get in.
Duty free was good, quite comprehensive for a small airport.
Check in was quick as was passport control.

Nice easy airport. Simple to use.
Few shops and food places to shop in.
Had free WiFi and places to charge your phone.
Could have drinking water available.

Domestic terminal T2 is smal, comfortble and have all you need.

The airport is now clean, large and very efficient. Lots of seating available and all the usual duty frees and eating places. Much improved from my first encounter of a tin shack many years ago.

Clean, modern and efficient. No delays through border control (UK passport holders can use the machines) and very quick baggage reclaim.

Nice airport. Strict rules for baggage allowance on Ryanair flight. Airport security scanners pick up on any bottles or drinks over 100 ml allowed and confiscate it. There is a open air smoking area after you clear immigration. Water fountains to fill the bottle.

For a small island, the airport is quite big and well organised. Might be a different story during the summer season but in February, there were hardly any queues at the check-in desks and security was pretty quick too. Plenty of shops and restaurants although, highly overpriced.

Never been through an airport anywhere in the world so quick. From leaving the plane to being in the hotel in 30 minutes. Let the fun begin
