Bar Cafetería La Cantosa

My diving instructor Hector recommended this place for me to taste the goats' meat.
It's amazing the flavors of the meat, so well cooked and it's 10€.... god that's so cheap compared to all the other restaurants I tried in Lanzarote. It's amazing this place I recommend you to try. Besides I think the goats' meat is a hidden menu cause when I walked in, they only asked me to choose burgers or pizza or hotdogs before I asked them for goats' meat myself.

A real Lanzarote village encounter with good pizzas and some local dishes. Good to get to know the island and people.....

Stopped by for some lunch today. A family of four, we sat outside and had burgers, chips and drinks for €27. The burger was really good. I thought it was a great place and I would definitely visit again if I was near Uga.

Such a local place to rat. The waiters were super nice and friendly with very good English to help us order.
We tried a stew that is not on the menu! Ask them! It was really tasty.
Pizza was also really good.
Highly highly recommended!
The prices are also really affordable.

We had pizzas which are really big and extra yummy!! We definitively recommend the 4 cheeses with pieces of local goat cheese on it!! 6 to 8€ for pizzas.
They also serve sandwiches and hamburgers from 2€, and a selection of tapas.
We had 1/2L of house wine (6,50€), the white is dry yet very fruity!

Great local bar and cafe, the staff are very friendly and a great help. Tapas here is exceptional every time we've been, which is quite a few times now! Also the prices are more than reasonable. Enjoy your stay!

Lovely village bar and restaurant. Lovely staff always quick service. Last visit received a pint with big cracked glass around rim, were v apologetic and immediately replaced, Bar this would have given 5*

La Cantosa is a typical Spanish bar / restaurant nothing fancy just nice staff the owner is a nice fella.Food is lovely and reasonably priced there is plenty of room outside on the terrace for eating and drinking.

Fantastic toasted sandwiches and cortado. Really fresh and tasty produce.

We go there to meet up with friends who live in the village and recommend it for food and great service

Perfect tapas, pizzas, burgers,hot dogs and toasties to die for.....All very good value for money.The owners who are brothers are most friendly and so are the staff,in particular, Nestor.

This place is buzzing! They just never stop until closing time. Pizzas, sandwiches, bocadillas. Staff very friendly, cant comment on food as we only ever had drinks there but the amount of customers and the smell and look of the food said it all. Casual, laid back, with tv for football.

Excellent value for money. Tasty sandwiches, freshly cooked food.

Loved it here we spent 4 hours just sitting and listening to music eating and drinking and feeding the fish.
